Cost factors varysignificantly for a number of good reasons: Prices vary greatly because thesurgery itself encompasses a wide range of techniques that can be performed todifferent extents. My recommendation is to first find the most qualified surgeons whereyou want the surgery performed that are board certified by the AmericanBoard of Plastic Surgery you trust, then compare prices between them. See thebelow link on suggestions on how to find the most qualified plastic surgeon foryour procedure. General Factors that influence the price of plastic surgery include:1. Location - Will it be performed in a hospitalwith an overnight stay, an independent out- patient facility or a doctor’soffice? Geographical location also has a significant influence. RealSelf has averagecharges for most areas of the USA.2. Type of Anesthesia - local, IV sedation orGeneral Anesthesia? Will a board certified anesthesiologist, nurse anesthetist,or an RN be used? 3. Experience andtraining of your surgeon. The best and longest trained is most often a plastic surgeonboard certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery 4. Length andComplexity of Surgery - how difficult will your surgery be and how long itwill take, etc. Will other complementary procedures also be also performedduring the same surgery?
In Toronto where my practice is located, that price sounds very reasonable. It is recommended that you select your surgeon based on factors such as experience and rapport rather than price alone.
Thank you for your question. The cost for a mommy makeover commonly ranges from $12,000 - $18,000, so it does appear you have received a reasonable price. Choose a board certified plastic surgeon based upon experience and the results he or she can deliver, not just on cost alone. Hope this helps and good luck with your procedure.
Hi Baruax,Thanks for your question. It seems fair and may be on the lower side of cost depending on who you ask. Or even on the high side depending on who does the surgery. The most expensive plastic surgery is bad surgery done by inexperienced surgeons. Please chose a surgeon based on credentials and EXPERIENCE. They will provide you more value based on your outcome and treatments recommended rather just on price alone. I find that most patients that pic a surgeon based on price end up spending more money with other surgeons to correct the issues. Of course you can find good surgeons with all kinds of prices, but just feel comfortable and safe with your decision! Thank you for your question about Mommy Makeover.Realself provides data for the average cost of breast lift with implants, tummy tuck and liposuction in your area.To be sure, see two or more board-certified plastic surgeons in your area for a full and complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have surgery.I hope this helps.
You are basically asking about multiple procedures, which involve implants, therefore the price you were quoted seems to be fair if your surgeon is experienced. Expect to pay a little more or a little less depending on the skill of your surgeon. If you are unsure I would suggest consulting with at least one more plastic surgeon to get a second opinion.Best wishes,Dr.Bruno
The price is reasonable. However, keep in mind that the most crucial factor is- finding the most experienced and qualified Surgeon to perform your Surgery.
Thanks for your inquiry and at face value it sounds like a typical, fair price quote. You should get another quote from another surgeon's office if the area if you are concerned. Good Luck.
Hello and thank you for your question. Cost of surgery varies by geographic region and surgeon expertise. Far more important than cost alone is that you find the right surgeon. It is veryimportant that you thoroughly research your surgeon before committing tosurgery. It is a good idea to research your surgeon's educational background, online reviews, before & after pictures, and speak with anyone who you mayknow who has had surgery with that surgeon. During your consultation, make surethat you don't feel rushed and make sure that you have adequate time with yoursurgeon and not just their patient coordinator or nurses. If the majority ofyour consultation is spent with someone other than the surgeon, this is usuallynot a good sign. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you arecomfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualifiedboard-certified expert surgeon who can evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Reish, M.D.Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
The cost for surgery varies widely depending on the area of the country, and realself has a great feature that gives an average cost for surgery in your area. Additionally, you could call several offices in your area to get some price comparisons. However, based on pricing in my area, I would say that seems very reasonable. Also, keep in mind that you should pick your surgeon based more on your comfort level with him or her rather than going with the least expensive option...surgery is not comparable to buying a car. Best of luck with your surgery!
Hi! It is normal to have concerns after surgery as everyone wants to know that they received the best value for their money. I do not have pre-op photos to go off of, but your breasts look great and your abdomen is probably swollen. You are very early in the healing process and it takes up to...
I usually do all of these procedures at the same time unless there is a compelling reason not to. Using your tummy tuck incision is great to place saline and silicone implants. Not only is it possible to place your breast implants through your tummy tuck incision, it is my preferred method in...
Pricing for a Mommy Makeover will vary by surgeon, area and procedures performed. For example some patients elect a breast lift with their Mommy Makeover and others don't. This will impact the price. I have a pricing tool on my website that can help you get an estimate. A more detailed quote...
