Would I be able to fix this botched Rhinoplasty? (photos)

This is one of the hardest surgeries but yes it can be done. It might require more than one procedures and a  lot of patience. I have done it for a few patients with good results.RegardsDr. J

Nostril surgery in combination with rhinoplasty can be difficult.  Your outcome demonstrates some of the potential complications that can occur during this particular portion of the rhinoplasty procedure.  I do however feel that all is not lost.  I think if you see an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon they will be able to evaluate you and provide improvement to the appearance of your nostril asymmetry and alar-facial scarring. 

Hi and thanks for the question and photos.  This is a difficult problem to fix, but it can be done.  You absolutely need to see a doctor who does a lot of revision rhinoplasty to take care of this.  I would need to examine you in person to know exactly what I would recommend, but again, you can get much better symmetry with a revision.  Good luck.

lindabruce1977, first off you need to wait a year and secondly you need to massage these incisions with Vit. E oil aggressively to soften all the scar tissue which will help the revision. I never do alar rim surgery at the same time as a rhinoplasty which helps considerably to prevent your problem. See an experienced specialist who does "only faces" and has a lot of good photos. Search the Internet. Good luck! And yes it can be fixed by the right surgoen.

Hi,Correcting asymmetric nostrils is not an easy task. Although your nostril can be improved upon, they will never be perfectly symmetric. Seek out a surgeon with extensive ethnic rhinoplasty experience.Best,Dr.S.
