Q: Chin reduction & tip revision: what are the risks I should know about?
Hi and thanks for your question. It is theoretically possible to have long term chin numbness after this surgery, but it is very unlikely. I have done many of these and not had this happen. I would be happy to see you for a consultation as my office is in Wayne, PA which is close to where you live. I would do computer imaging to give you an idea of the changes that can be made. Please see the link below that shows some of my before and after chin reduction patients. Also, I have done thousands of revision rhinoplasties, so I'm sure that I can help you with that as well. I look forward to meeting you soon. Dr. Pontell
Q: Is it okay to get a facelift and then 2 months later get a tummy tuck?
I don't see a problem with 2 months in between a facelift and tummy tuck. It should be fine. Good luck
Q: Is this a Pollybeak Deformity? (photo)
Hi and thanks for your photo and question. It is hard to know without seeing you in person to examine your nose, but I do share your concern. As the other surgeons have answered, you have to be patient for all of the swelling to resolve. Good luck. Dr. Pontell
Q: Can my crooked nose actually be corrected? I’m not convinced. (photo)
Hi and thanks for your photos and question. You do have some severe deviations of your nose, but yes, it can be straightened and the septum can be fixed to help with your breathing. This is one of the more challenging parts of rhinoplasty, but if you go to a very experienced surgeon, they should know how to fix it. If you look at patients 3,17,25 in my website rhinoplasty gallery, you will see similar cases to yours that I was able to fix. Good luck.
