Can rasping revision under local anaesthetic cause change of nose shape or make it worse?

Asked By:girl interrupted in Ireland, IE

I had closed rhinoplasty July 2015. Now I still have a residual boney hump and I have booked to have this rasped in July 2016. I would like to know the risks involved. My doctor says I shouldn't worry and it's a very minor surgery under local anaesthetic with a tablet to relax me. I want to know if it could cause any changes to the shape of my nose? Any risk of polly break deformity? Please could you tell me if any possible problems, how likely they are and if/how they could be fixed? Thanks!
