Xeomin is commonly used for cosmetic purposes to treat wrinkles and fine lines of the forehead, glabella (between the eyebrows), lateral orbital areas (crow’s feet), and lateral nasal areas (bunny lines). In select patients, Xeomin can also be used to improve down-turned corners of the mouth, vertical banding of muscles in the neck, and wrinkling of the lower eyelids and chin areas. I would recommend seeing an expert physician injector for a consultation to discuss your goals and options. All the best,
Xeomin (incobotulinumtoxinA, also called botulinumtoxin type A), is made from the bacteria that causes botulism. Botulinum toxinblocks nerve activity in the muscles, causing a temporary reduction in muscleactivity. The most common areas for xeomin are the forehead lines, crow's feet and glabellar lines. For under the eye area I recommend you to use belotero for better results.
Xeomin is similar to Botox and Dysport. It can be used around the eyes for smile lines/crow's feet. Please find a physician who is experienced with periocular injections. Good luck.
Everyone has unique expressions. We move our facial muscles in a repetitive way and over time those repetitive movements cause wrinkles and fine lines. When you start to experience the signs of aging, Xeomin are available to diminish unwanted wrinkles and creases in your face.Xeomin lock the release of a chemical called acetylcholine, which triggers the muscle contractions that create wrinkles. Xeomin essentially paralyze the muscles and stops them from contracting. Results from these treatments are visible within 3-14 days with results that can last anywhere from 3-4 months. Xeomin be used to improve:Worry lines in your forehead Lines between the eyebrows Smile lines Laugh lines from nose to mouth Crow’s feetNext step for you is to schedule with a Board Certified Dermatologist.Hope this helps
Xeomin is used for the same areas Botox and Dysport are. It can be used on the forehead, glabellar lines and crow’s feet. I don’t recommend using it under the eyes. For more information, I recommend getting a in person consultation from a board-certified dermatologist.
Xeomin is used for the same indications and on the same areas as BOTOX and Dysport. That is, it is useful for treating wrinkles between the brows, on the forehead and around the eyes (Crow's feet or smile lines). It is generally not indicated for the wrinkles that occur below the eyes, as those wrinkles are caused by the rising of the muscle over the cheek (and this muscle should not be injected). Xeomin may be injected along the lower lid margin (1-2 units) to give a subtle widening of the eye.
Xeomin is just like botox and used for the same reason. It has the same onset, duration and effect. I use it in my office a long with botox. It depends on what the patient prefers.
Dear Sharonfields:Xeomin is a neuromodulator, similar to Botox and Dysport, used for softening and improvement of lines and wrinkles. In the hands of an expert injector, it can be safely used around the eye area. best wishes.
Hello, and thanks for your question. Xeomin is effectively another brand of Botox, and it works in the same manner and can therefore be used anywhere Botox is used. To maximize the likelihood of a favorable outcome, I recommend that you only get treated by a well-trained and experienced dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Hope this opinion is helpful to you. Best of luck, Dr. Frucht.

I'm a big propenent of starting my patients off slowly, but 3 units is not nearly enough. That area requires 12-24 units, depending on severity. We have had fabulous results with Xeomin in our office. In fact, we now do more Xeomin injections than Botox. I recommend getting treatments...
Hello DinaKinNJ, Thanks for your question. Merz is the manufacturer for Xeomin. If you go online you can sign up with their reward program and receive rebates/coupon vouchers to help you save. As for Xeomin being as effective as Botox, it sure is. They both relax the muscles....
Xeomin and Botox are dosed in a 1:1 fashion, meaning if you were happy with 25 units of Botox, then you should be happy with 25 units of Xeomin. Dysport is trickier because it is dosed somewhere between 2.5 - 3 times the amount of Botox/Xeomin. In my office, I use the 3x amount, especially s...
