What is Xeomin best used for? Can it be used any where near of under the eye area?

Xeomin is commonly used for cosmetic purposes to treat wrinkles and fine lines of the forehead, glabella (between the eyebrows), lateral orbital areas (crow’s feet), and lateral nasal areas (bunny lines). In select patients, Xeomin can also be used to improve down-turned corners of the mouth, vertical banding of muscles in the neck, and wrinkling of the lower eyelids and chin areas.  I would recommend seeing an expert physician injector for a consultation to discuss your goals and options.

Xeomin (incobotulinumtoxinA, also called botulinum
toxin type A), is made from the bacteria that causes botulism. Botulinum toxin
blocks nerve activity in the muscles, causing a temporary reduction in muscle
activity. The most common areas for xeomin are the forehead lines, crow's feet and glabellar lines. For under the eye area I recommend you to use belotero for better results.

Xeomin is similar to Botox and Dysport.  It can be used around the eyes for smile lines/crow's feet.  Please find a physician who is experienced with periocular injections.  Good luck.

Xeomin is used for the same areas Botox and Dysport are. It can be used on the forehead, glabellar lines and crow’s feet. I don’t recommend using it under the eyes. For more information, I recommend getting a in person consultation from a board-certified dermatologist. 

Xeomin is used for the same indications and on the same areas as BOTOX and Dysport.  That is, it is useful for treating wrinkles between the brows, on the forehead and around the eyes (Crow's feet or smile lines).  It is generally not indicated for the wrinkles that occur below the eyes, as those wrinkles are caused by the rising of the muscle over the cheek (and this muscle should not be injected).  Xeomin may be injected along the lower lid margin (1-2 units) to give a subtle widening of the eye.

Xeomin is just like botox and used for the same reason. It has the same onset, duration and effect. I use it in my office a long with botox. It depends on what the patient prefers.

Hello, and thanks for your question. Xeomin is effectively another brand of Botox, and it works in the same manner and can therefore be used anywhere Botox is used. To maximize the likelihood of a favorable outcome, I recommend that you only get treated by a well-trained and experienced dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Hope this opinion is helpful to you.
