Recently, I had brain stent surgery. I am off prescription blood thinners, but take a daily baby aspirin. Can I safely resume my Xeomin injections? Should I stop the baby aspirin for a week to diminish bruising? Any thoughts are appreciated.
Hi I'm a woman, nearly 58, had a total thyroidectomy in 2014. My surgeon said he stiched the platysma muscle after removal. The scar is not revisible but as I've aged, the neck skin is saggy and I've developed small flat skin tags. I have Xeomin injections in my frown and some in my DAO muscle, which has helped the jowling. The injector has suggested I have injectables in my platysma, as its too tight. Would this be the best treatment? I'd like something the lasts? Thank you for any advise.
For my first time getting Xeomin (or any neurotoxin), I opted for a very conservative number and just for one area of my face--my 11's. I had 10 units injected over 72 hours ago. I'm not noticing any restricted movement or change for that matter. Is it possible it may still work or was 10 units too little? I am 29 and don't have deep wrinkles--just a single 11 line that bugs me.
Even after 6+ weeks, if I rub my forehead with pressure, it frequently causes my muscles to temporarily contract into a scowl or comically concerned look. It doesn't take an excessive amount of pressure. I gently massage back the right direction & it goes back after a min or so. I DO NOT rub my forehead when I get injected, or in the days after. I'm diligently gentle after being injected. It happens with both Xeomin & Botox, & different injectors. Why does it happen?
I know it is rare, but I have developed antibodies to neurotoxins. It started with just a lessened effect 2 years ago, and at this point Ive tried Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin multiple times with different providers with no effect whatsoever. My question is- what else can I do to lessen forehead and 11 line wrinkles? Ive read thermirase, but seems very hard to find an experienced provider around me Im in Nashville). Any thoughts on treatments that would minimize movement and wrinkle lines?
I have been receiving Botox for many years now. Recently diagnosed with microscopic colitis, which is kept in remission with 9mg daily doses of a glucocorticoid. Wondering how (if at all) this will impact my next Xeomen treatment (i.e. more bleeding, bruising) and overall efficacy of the Xeomin while taking this drug protocol.
