I have never had any surgeries but am considering it. Sometimes my nipples seem inverted as well and so I was wondering what you all would recommend. I have always been very insecure about them :(

I recommend consultation with a plastic surgeon to be measured and discuss your goals. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. You should also be aware that results of surgery can change in the future with significant weight change and/or stretching of skin from the milk of pregnancy. Unfortunately, surgeons have created the term tuberous breasts, a fact which causes unnecessary concerns for women. No you do not have tuberous breasts, but you are a good candidate for a donut mastopexy and submuscular augmentation with saline or silicone implants, depending on your preference. I appreciate your concerns, and while your photos could be a bit clearer, it does not appear that you have tuberous breasts. It seems that you have modest ptosis and the best option is probably breast lift with or without implants. Inverted nipples are not usually associated with tuberous breasts, and if that is an issue for you, this condition is easily treated with a minor surgical procedure that can be done under local anesthesia. tuberous breasts are not simply small or underdeveloped breasts. The appearance of the breast can range from mild to severe, and typical traits include: enlarged, puffy areola, rather wide spacing between the breasts, very little breast tissue, sagging, higher than normal inferior breast fold, and narrow base at the chest wall.The type of surgery best for you will depend on the severity of your condition.My preferred technique for tuberous breast correction involves a multistep procedure where the breast tissue is released in a radial pattern to prevent herniation into the areola and placement of a custom implant size is in the breast to allow appropriate expansion of the breast in the restricted dimensions. This can often be done in a single procedure but sometimes may require two surgeries.That said, it is best that you visit a board-certified plastic surgeon for an in person examination. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Although it’s difficult to tell from the pictures, you do not appear to have tuberous breasts. Possibly a little constricted at the bottom. If you’d like cosmetic changes to the breast, I’d recommend consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon. You’d be a good candidate for breast implants, if you’d like a larger size.

As for the nipples, inverted nipples are common and there’s a procedure to correct that.

However, making a consultation with a plastic surgeon in your area would be helpful so that you can be properly assessed in person. Tuberous breast can often be treated with a procedure called a circular mastopexy at the same time you have a breast augmentation. Correction for inverted nipples could also be done in the same procedure. I would discuss this with your surgeon in person to see what option would be best for you! Good luck to you!
