Thank you for your question. It's hard to determine exactly without seeing you in person. I would say it would bring you to a full B small C depending on the amount of breast tissue you currently have. I would suggest seeing a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in person to evaluate you and discuss your options. Best of luck to you.
There is not a definite answer to this question. Bra makers size things differently so it's somewhat dependent on that. Generally, we say a cup is 125-150 cc so you would gain about 2 cup sizes on average. As always, be sure to research who does your procedure to increase your chances of having a good outcome.
I recommend consultation with a plastic surgeon to be measured and discuss your goals. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. You should also be aware that results of surgery can change in the future with significant weight change and/or stretching of skin from the milk of pregnancy. Hi there, thank you for your question. It depends on the projection of implant as well but, you can reach to C cup if high projection is used.
I feel that our profession has caused a lot of pitfalls that keep getting patients in trouble with complications and reoperations. Surgeons want to deliver, even at the cost of error. The truth is that there is no way to predict bra cup sizes, and therefore no formula, like one of the doctors provided you in this post. The way to reliably determine your aesthetic goal volume needs is in office sizing using purpose built sizers prior to surgery. This completely eliminates bra cups, which in the end are irrelevant. What's relevant is how you perceive yourself in the mirror or in photos after surgery, and this is recreated by sizing before your surgery.
Hello, thank you for your question. A board certified plastic surgeon will be able to guide you to the correct size implant. Based upon measurements of your chest wall and breast imprint width as well as knowledge of all breast implant sizes and profiles should make this process easy. Try on a profile bra with various silicone cc sizers your PS recommends under a tailored blouse, tank top, bikini, workout clothes, and other garments you typically wear so that you have the best idea of whether the garments fit as desired with the implant selected. Select the size that boosts your self-esteem, and fits your anatomy. Choosing an implant based on an aesthetic goal that exceeds your anatomic capacity may lead to complications and possibly revision.
Dear Terrific924491,breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
At size 34 A, each 100 cc of implant corresponds to 1 cup size change. 280 cc implants will take you up 2 1/2 cup sizes to a C. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Photos and physical exam are optimal because I try to tailor each breast augmentation operation to my patient's desires and body type. There are pros and cons regarding saline and silicone implants, and patient anatomy and preference play a role in selection. The same is true regarding implant projection. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon and go to your consult with all your questions written down so you don't forget to ask something. Good Luck!
Thank you for sharing your question. Unfortunately there is no correlation between implant cc size and ultimate bra cup measurement as each bra manufacturer employs different sizing and because each patient starts with a different amount of natural breast tissue and the profile of the implant will have an impact as well. Most important is to find the style and size of implant that best approaches your goal result, then fit a bra to them once you are fully healed. Best wishes.
Hi, Symmastia can certainly be made to appear less aesthetically pleasing when large implants are used. Using a smaller implant is suggested. Your surgeon would likely stay a bit farther away from that area than normal to prevent any further migration of the implant after surgery as it...
A double bubble occurs when the relationship between implant and gland is out of sync so to speak and the gland fall off the edge of the implant. It creates a distortion to the breast that results in poor aesthetics - shape and contour. There isn't something magical about a 400cc implant....
If you only focus on breast prosthesis size, you will make a mistake. What will make up the breast is your body structure, the size of the prosthesis and of course your expectations. If you can share a photo of your body and a breast photo you like, it can be commented on whether the 350 cc will...
