Honest opinion on breast implants currently 25 years old and really wanting to do this surgery the only thing I keep debating if it’s worth it doing it now or waiting to have all my kids i currently don’t have kids but want at least 3 in the future. Goals in having kids 1-2 years. Pros and cons please

I have consulted with a plastic surgeon local to me. I am in the process of looking for a surgeon for a second opinion. Background info: I am a 28 year old female, 5’10 and 165lbs. 8 years ago, i had an open liver resection due to a 16cm Hepatic Adenoma. All is well health wise, my liver specialist cleared me to have a tummy tuck. I am done having children. The first surgeon i consulted with had recommended an FDL tummy tuck and possibly removing the vertical section of scar from my liver resection. is there a specific approach I should be looking for from my surgeon? I also was researching a medical school in my area and their plastic surgery senior resident clinic but was not sure if my case may be too complex for that Should I try to lose any more weight as well beforehand? Its hard for me to tell what is still fat and what is excess skin. Would just a tummy tuck give me a better silhouette?

I’ve been told that I’m right and on the borderline of mini vs full tummy tuck candidacy, and hoping to collect more opinions. My priorities are to improve my contour, revise an old scar, and repair muscle while avoiding risks: contour irregularities or divots, fake overstretched look, high horizontal scar, and anything unnatural looking. I am accepting of scars (luckily have great healing history) and can accept bb relocation result risk if it necessary to achieve my goals. My laxity is not significant to the point of overhanging, but the skin stacking on itself results in a cellulite like contour even at low BMI. When I bend it results in small rolls, but in a plank it hangs off, minimally above the bb and more so below. If I physically pull down my lower abdomen with my hands, that amount of stretch is sufficient to get the level of smoothness I want. I have been offered a mini with float that I’m told will get me the right balance of outcomes, but I’m worried I will end up with too low a bb that would look unnatural, or, would not be able to smooth out the contour. I’m also worried that the included lipo may result in additional laxity. So I’m curious if the laxity I have is sufficient for a full TT and what other professionals would propose given my goals and anatomy.

Are there any doctors who specialize in doing a rhinoplasty, lip lift and lower lid blepharoplasty/fat repositioning for under eye hollows all in one? These are all on my wishlist but to save on anesthesia costs and life interruptions, I'd prefer to get them all done at once. Of course, I don't want to skimp on safety or quality though, so I would only go through ugh a 3-in-1 with someone who frequently does the combination bf has reliable results. Thank you!

Want to fix my nose as well as my lips. I had unilateral condylar hyperplasia which tilted my nose and lips to one side. My nose is not straight, and my lips are slanted. Can I fix this in one sitting? For the rhinoplasty, I want to narrow the wide nose bone and reduce the tip slightly, while straightening the nose. For the lip lift, I only want to do it in the corner to make it symmetrical, and reduce the fat on one side(my left) of the lip as it is more fat than the other.

Hi, I'm 19 and wanted to have a primary rhinoplasty. One of the doctors i was researching specialises in closed rhinoplasties. I also heard closed would mean less scaring and quicker healing. I've attached my current nose and a morph of what i would like, could someone please tell me if a closed rhinoplasty is possible or if open is the only way to achieve the results i want. I have a family history of blood clots, so I had a blood work done to test for a blood clotting disorder before my planned lipo 360/BBL. Everything was normal except pretty elevated Factor 8 & Factor 5. I met with a hematologist, who recommended prophylactic blood thinners either before or after surgery. He is coordinating with my surgeon about the timing. I’m now very worried about developing a DVT or PE. Does elevated Factor 8 mean I’m likely to develop a blood clot from this surgery, or is it simply an additional risk factor that can be managed with appropriate clot-prevention measures? Would this finding make you advise against elective lipo 360/BBL altogether?

Two years later and I ve been experience pain in my hips and certain parts of my Butt. At first is was on one side and I also noticed that a huge dip on my hip/side butt had appeared last year by the time of my 1 year post op appointment. I've expressed that concern to the surgeon who at that time, advised me to get hip dip filler to correct the dip. I never got he filler because Im nervous about it migrating. However fast forward to now and the other side of my hop is also aching. I don't know what is going on. My surgeon also has stated he doesn't know. if anyone has any information about the please advise what is causing it to hurt after two years. I feel it more when I sit or lay on my butt/ sides.

Hi, Please give your honest opinion on when I should safely fly (3.5 hour flight) after mummy make over (abdominoplasty, liposuction and breast reduction). Wondering if it’s possible to have a partial hysterectomy and abdominoplasty at the same day?

I am struggling to explain what I am wanting during my consultations. I am currently a DD and would prefer to be a C cup. However, I would also like fullness in the upper breast and don’t want to have to rely on a bra for cleavage. So, I want to be approximately a C—but I don’t want the deflated upper-pole appearance I see in many reductions. I want noticeable upper-pole fullness and projection, while still having a natural breast position and contour. I don’t want them sitting excessively high or looking large or obviously implanted. Is this even a possibility? Many consults have told me that a lift with implants defeats the purpose and I 100% understand that too. I am 49 yo, healthy female. Please help!

I have two consultations for breast reduction scheduled for next month. I have large breasts (40J) and know breast reduction would be beneficial. Insurance won't cover it, so I'll pay out of pocket. Surgeon 1 is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has only a few pictures on his website, but they're all of patients with smaller breasts than mine. Surgeon 2 is certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery; he also has multiple pictures of his work on his website with patients who look similar in size to me. My question is: What is the difference between these certifications? Should one be considered over the other for a breast reduction on larger breasts? Hello, I have received mixed opinions. My nipple is just above my crease. . I just want to replace volume and have a natural slope. Im 5’4 and 135lbs. I do NOT want the high round augmented look. Should i ask for a lift to prevent future sagging from implant?

My weight of 112 lbs has always been stable. I have thick, oily skin without fine lines/wrinkles. I have always had fat pads in a location which is too low on my face and deep nasolabials. I just tried Restylane to the pyriform fossa, no improvement. My goals are to restore a smooth transition from the cheek to the lower lids, to reduce the heaviness of the cheek tissue, and in general to lift a descended central facial structure, from the lower eyes to the perioral area. 37, female. I have mild facial asymmetry from a jaw growth discrepancy (right side longer). In my early 30s I had dermal filler to camouflage it, which worked fwor a few years, but multiple rounds with different practitioners without dissolving left me overfilled and distorted. The extra weight and volume on the right was pulling that side down and making the asymmetry more noticeable. About 6 weeks ago I had most of it dissolved, unguided and without ultrasound. I think some remains, and I'm waiting for an ultrasound-guided appointment to dissolve the rest. I'm now left with deep tear trough/malar indentations (present since childhood, now much worse), mid cheek volume loss, and lower cheek hollowing and sagging. The sagging is worse on the right (the longer jaw side), especially around the mouth: a deeper right marionette fold and the right corner of my mouth drooping more. When I lift my right upper cheek slightly, the mouth droop and marionette fold disappear, so I think mid cheek descent is the main cause. I don't know whether the overfilling permanently stretched the tissue and made this side droop more after dissolving. A surgeon has recommended a deep plane facelift, with a small amount of SMAS fat grafted into the tear trough/malar indentation. My question is: Would I be suitable for any less invasive surgical options, such as other facelift techniques or fat grafting to more areas?

I am in my twenties and my eyes have been this way for as long as I can remember. I have been told by my primary care doctor that the current state of my eyes is genetic but I feel that as I age it makes me look tired. I’m afraid of surgery so I was wondering if there are non-surgical procedures that would address all or even part of this issue but if not then I would like to know if a lower bleph is the way to go.

I photos to an oculoplastic surgeon as an evaluation form before a consultation, and I just got a message back that the doctor does not consider me a candidate for lower blepharoplasty. Based on my pictures does that seem right? It feels hard for me to believe because I feel like my under eyes are some of the worst I’ve ever seen for my age. I know there are probably other factors but I’m just so upset, I was so excited to have a solution to the main thing that’s bothered me my whole life

In January 2026, I had a transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty. I adhered to post-op procedures well, and to this day still sleep slightly elevated to reduce inflammation. The results gave improvement, but there are still skin flaps rather than the taut under-eye look I expected. The surgeon has been gracious and said he agrees the results are not what we wanted. He has suggested, as a next step, an Eco2+ laser treatment under the eyes, which he would do for free, to see if that will tighten up the skin under my eyes. Is that a meaningful next step? Is there going to be some other surgical intervention needed? I'm a 46 y/o male.

Hello, I'm having a blepharoplasty in Czechia and planning to stay there for at least a week, or more likely 10 days, before returning home. I am planning to have my sutures removed before flying back. From what I have read, it is recommended to wait before flying on a long-haul flight after surgery, since there is a risk of DVT. I am in normal health and of normal weight. Is 10 days generally OK to fly back after this procedure if the flight is about 8 hours? Is there anything else I need to do to minimize the risks—for example, wear compression socks on the plane?
