When bumps appear and then reappear it is usually a result of filler that is placed too superficially into the dermis. A hyaluronidase treatment should dissolve the filler completely. If it didn’t, you probably need another treatment to get rid of it completely. The key to successful dermal filler treatments is precision in terms of both dosing amount and needle placement. I recommend you find a board-certified dermatologist who is also an expert injector for an in-person assessment and treatment plan that will work right for you.

It appears from your photo that the product was placed too superficially.  The typical treatment is to have the product dissolved with hyaluronidase. As it seems your injector was able to remove more filler even after a hyaluronidase treatment  it may be that further removal of product is necessary to resolve the bumps.

It appears from the fillers that the product has extruded and has given you the bumps  You can definitely have the lumps dissolved with Vitrase and it will look much better.  Please consult an expert in lip injections for the best cosmetic injections.  Best, Dr. Green

This can be the result of superficial filler injection. This also depends on which product was injected. Typically, hyaluronidase will take care of these issues but you may lose volume from the filler as well. Best of luck. 

Thanks for your question.  Perhaps you could benefit from a second opinion face to face with an experienced cosmetic injector? Lumps like what you have pictured are typically caused by aggregation of the filler superficially. They usually resolve with manual expression through a needle prick, or with injection of hyaluronidase.  Best of luck to you!
