I know it is different depending on what techniques are used, but as a very general question what has been the estimated time until I should be able to breath with my nose? **Nose will not be packed Thank you!!

Answer: Breathing after rhinoplasty Great question. In general you will be stuffy for about 4 weeks. Oddly enough, if you have problems with a deviated septum, and that gets fixed at the same time, your breathing can actually be better than before almost immediately. You are right though that every patient is a little different. Always trust and defer to your own surgeon as they know your situation best of all. Good luck.

Answer: Breathing thru nose after rhinoplasty Hello, as you mentioned there is a lot of variability after nose surgery regarding when you can expect to breathe thru your nose. In general, I estimate between 5-7 days. You will notice airflow slowly return and then gradually improve with passing days. Hope that helps and thanks
