I will be getting my revision surgery in two months I have a capsular contracture in my right side and I will be changing my 590 to 650 cc is there any big difference in size? Or is just a minor difference?
Answer: Is there a big difference between 590cc and 650cc high profile silicone implants? Thank you for the question. Keep in mind as you are thinking about your goals that sometimes adjustment of the breast implant pockets (capsule adjustments) may be necessary to achieve the outcome you are looking for. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering revisionary breast augmentation surgery is:1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "up a cup size” or "big difference" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your chosen plastic surgeon to work with you in determining the best plan to achieve your goals.I hope this, and the attached link (dedicated to larger breast augmentation surgery concerns), helps. Best wishes.

Answer: Difference in breast implant sizes Hello The difference between the two implant sizes is not huge-roughly 10% More important considerations are the natural dimensions of your original breast structure and the amount of support that your breast tissue provides. In general, you want to avoid a situation where you keep increasing the size of your implants, as this may thin out the natural breast structure. Also consider strategies that provide the best chance of avoiding additional capsular contracture. Best of luck.

Answer: Breast Revision Exciting times for you. To answer your question...breast revisions are complex procedures in which we as surgeons must asses and correct your pocket, capsules and implants volune and projection. This in addition to appropriate nipple placement. To be frank both implants are considered large and i would be curious as to whether or not you had a prior lift and if you have "good tissues". But frankly 50-70 cc wont make a dramatic difference, its more a combination of all these other factors. Best wishes
