Dr. Cook is amazing if you want a natural look. 1 Year ago I had a lower face and neck lift with fat transfer to tighten up my sagging skin and fill out my checks and other hollowed out areas of my face. I had this done in his office under local instead of general anesthesia. Dr. Cook is amazing, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend him. He always takes time with you, he really wants to make sure that your questions are answered and his staff is also top notch.
I’ve never had big breasts but they never really bothered me too much because I could fake it when I wanted to with padded bras. After nursing for almost 3.5 yers straight, my kids left me with nothing in the chest department. I didn’t have enough tissue to “fake it” anymore and it started effecting how I felt sexy, especially with my hubby. So I’m doing it! Updated on 11 Mar 2019: I met with a few surgeons and all agreed with 325-350 mod profile. I want natural but full. I think the size is what I’m most worried about getting it right. I leave the office loving the 350’s but then looking at pics I wonder if they are a tad too big Updated on 11 Mar 2019: Bye bye mini boobies! Surgery was easy and no problems. I started my period a solid minute before the wheeled me in so that was fun. I’m all bandaged up so I can’t see the girls till my first post op app. Updated on 12 Mar 2019: Day 2 was the hardest day pain wise for sure but by day 3, I was off all meds and just on Tylenol. Saw my PS yesterday and got to see the girls For the first time. He says I’m healing perfect. Obviously super swollen on top. But I think I’m going to be super happy! Ps- the laying on my back thing for sleep is getting old and I daydream when I can sleep on my side again! Also bloating.... it’s terrible. I knew it would happen but didn’t realize it would be this bad. And it could last weeks?! Ugh Updated on 13 Mar 2019: The bloating is starting to come down a bit (thank god) but I’m still super swollen on top. More so on my right than left. Called the doc and they said I’m probably doing to much and need to rest more. So I’m icing round the clock and will probably go back to sleeping on an incline to reduce the morning boob situation. I’m starting to get antsy for the healing process to be farther along, but I know I need time and care. Also those boob massages are weeeeeird. Updated on 14 Mar 2019: Bloating is starting to really go down. Thank god! Still working on the constipation. But a a huge difference from how I look and feel from yesterday to today. I think the things that contributed are: more ice, less activity, sleeping upright again, and being cleared to finally take a little Advil. Updated on 16 Mar 2019: When does the intense swelling go down? Righty is still super swollen on top. And still bruised... ahhhh Updated on 20 Mar 2019: Still swollen (which is annoying) but my PS said I look totally normal for my recovery stage. I was bleeding a bit on Monday and Tuesday from my right side but dr wasn’t concerned at all. Still doing massages, can’t wait for them to soften up! I just feel like my recovery is slower than some I see on here and I’m antsy! But pain is basically gone and muscle soreness is almost gone too. How long did everyone sleep on an incline for? I’m dying to lay on my side again. Updated on 22 Mar 2019: Swelling is going more down every day. Which is soooo exciting to see them settling in to their shape. So I couldn’t resist trying on a new bra:) Updated on 2 May 2019: So my left boob is settling so well and my right is still so high. I see my PS in another month and I’m hoping they go down by then. I’m so paranoid about CC!! I’m obsessed with them. I have had my moments where im scared I went too big, and other days where I think I chose perfect. I think I am mostly till adjusting to my new body, but I can’t wait till summer to really let them loose! I feel sexier and more myself for sure:)
Dr Cook is an amazing plastic surgeon, and the most patient I have ever experienced. I had side effects because of my sensitive skin, not because of Dr Cook, and he has continued to treat me after 8 months. He is an excellent surgeon and follows directions from the patient--keeping it natural.
I work in health care and I know the best when I see it. Dr Cook’s work is impeccable, he has an artistic eye and medical knowledge and skill. All of which you need in a plastic surgeon. He’s simply the best and his staff members are all amazing!!!!! Going in for an appointment is actually fun.
After doing my research I chose Dr.Cook to do my Facelift.I had 2 other consultations prior. One question I had was regarding sedation. I m 67 and I decided to be awake during the surgery. After my consultation I felt confident Dr Cook was the right choice. I had a facelift with fat transfer to my cheeks. . The surgery with local anesthesia and medication to relax me. That was 7 weeks ago Iam still healing and feeling great about my decision. Before my surgery I looked for reviews from women that had the same surgery under local. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find many Dr Cook is an artist and His staff is exceptional.I like it that my friends have no idea I had anything done.(he did plenty) :) Photos soon.
I've now had my breasts for 1 full year and I can say with certainty that my breast augmentation was 100% worth it. I'm thrilled with the outcome. I was 32 at the time of the surgery, had nursed both my kids and was done having babies. Before my kids I was about a small B- full A cup. When I was nursing I went to a full C and loved the way it looked. Sadly, when the breastfeeding boobs went, so did any fullness I had prior to children. My breasts were empty and I was so self conscious about it. I did a lot of research and felt totally comfortable when I chose Dr. Cook. He took into consideration my lifestyle, weight to heigh ratio and made the perfect recommendation. I Did 300 cc's of silicon and a bilateral incision (under the breast). The scars did take a while to heal, but it was worth the wait. I couldn't be happier!!
I had sculpture done one week ago on my belly and will continue posting pictures until the maximum results which is 12 weeks. The procedure it's self is only slightly uncomfortable and a week later I am still pretty sore . You do have to massage daily for 5-10 minutes a day for a week. So far I already notice a difference . I am very self conscious about my stomach so please don't pick apart. I am here to give honest pics along for the duration. So far I am Pleased! Updated on 3 Mar 2016: I am attaching a pic of how it looked getting it done . One week and two days later I am still sore! I don't know why. If it lingers past this weekend I will call the office . Updated on 9 Mar 2016: Stomach is still sore to the touch on areas of prom placement. Two weeks out and so far I'm happy . I have some compression lines from working in these pants all day
I am mid-forties and went to Dr Cook for Botox and Voluma. He has a wonderful bedside manner and sincerely cares. He was very patient and was a pure artist. I looked great! Very, very pleased. I have lived in various geographical locations and seen a few physicians for filler in the past. I do believe the past physicians I have seen were skilled but hands down Dr Cook is the best!
When I had my new passport photo taken, I knew it was time to consider my options. I consulted with six surgeons, and chose Dr. John Q. Cook based on his portfolio, location, and bedside manner. His staff was wonderful, and the whole process was seamless from surgery to after care. I had a full facelift, neck lift, fat transfer, and my lower lids done. I still look like me—only better. I have my cheekbones back, and my jawline is clean and tight. I have not felt this comfortable going without makeup since high school, and I am in my late 50s! I still have some swelling in my lower jawline, but it is not noticeable to anyone but me, and I expect to feel completely normal in a month or two. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and I would recommend Dr. John Q. Cook to anyone looking to turn back the clock 15 or 20 years. I am so pleased.
I have always been a small breasted woman (34 A-AA) but I'm also tall and felt that I looked disproportionate because of my breasts. I couldn't wear the shirts, dresses, and swimsuits that I wanted and just didn't feel as sexy as I felt my personality supported. I waited until now because I didn't have the time in my busy schedule and because I thought it would be so much more expensive. I wish I had had the surgery YEARS ago! I had the surgery as an outpatient with Dr. Cook on a Tuesday and was able to go back to work the following Monday. I limited my activities, despite having a job that requires quite a bit of lifting, as recommended by Dr. Cook. I had some soreness and tightness in my chest the first day back at work, but I wasn't in pain. I was really impressed by how smooth the whole process was and how quickly I recovered! I am very pleased with the results and how professional and kind all of the staff have been. Dr. Cook listened to my concerns and desires and accommodated those into his surgical plans. I am now four months out and feel I look like the woman I was supposed to be born as!
Thank you for your question. You could benefit from a breast lift without implants. Some breast lifts allow for a rearrangement of natural breast tissue to give a pleasing fullness to the upper portion of the breasts. Since you have plenty of your own natural volume this would make sense for you. In terms of when to do the surgery, it all comes down to how important breast feeding is to you. Any breast lift technique has the potential to diminish the ability to breast feed. Best of luck
Thank you for your question. There are a host of options for scar treatment and reduction. I would recommend starting with the surgeon who completed your breast lift to understand their recommendations, but it is reasonable to alter the size of the areola if you are unhappy with the appearance or symmetry currently.
Thank you for your question,Breast lift surgery can address a number of concerns which is likely why I find it to have such high satisfaction among my patients. In your case it sounds like breast positioning is your top concern which can be addressed with certain lifting techniques. In my opinion the overall goals of breast lift surgery include:
Thank you for your question,Liposuction is a great option for removing unwanted or excess fat from targeted areas of the body. Liposuction itself does not change the quality of the skin but if you have loose or lax skin and then you simply remove fat from that area it can leave a less than desirable result. The great news is that there are methods to remove fat AND tighten the skin. I have found great success with BodyTite in conjunction with liposuction in patients with mild to moderately loose skin. BodyTite uses a pair of probes, one above the skin, one below it, to deliver radiofrequency energy across the skin. The probes are moved back and forth to deliver energy to the skin, area by area. This causes the skin to tighten. BodyTite can also be used to melt the fat under the loose skin and it can be combined with other melting technologies, such as laser liposuction. It is best to find a qualified and experienced plastic surgeon who can fully assess your individual concerns and then recommend the appropriate procedure to meet your goals. Best of luck!
Congratulations on your procedure! It is absolutely normal to experience an increase in size as you experience swelling in the area that was treated. Many patients experience their initial result about 4-6 weeks after liposuction as swelling improves but full healing generally takes around 6 months.
