Is incision from drain tube healing properly? (Photo)

Asked By:Boshi36 in Danvers, IL

My TT drainage tube was removed 4 days ago. I asked the doctor about steri strips to help the hole close and he said to cleanse 2-3 times a day with soap and water, pat dry, and cover with gauze, and it will close on its own. Does the tissue look healthy and would it be ok to apply steri strips to aid in wound closing? I don't see my doctor for another week and would like to have another opinion. Thank you!
