Is incision from drain tube healing properly? (Photo)

Thanks for your inquiry, but without an exam it is hard to advise.  By your picture the wound is clean and healing  I would not recommend trying to close the wound with a steri-strip.  Good luck at your appointment.

Thank you for sharing your question and photograph.  It does appear that your drain tube incision is healing well, with your body depositing red tissue (granulation) into the base of the wound as it heals from the inside-out.  I do not think that steri-strips would improve your incision healing, just continue your current therapy and this should heal in the next several days.
