In general I think about the total time of the operation as the most important factor when combining surgeries. The operations you want require more time than I personally feel is safe to do all at once so I would recommend staging them, probably with BBL/reduction and then TT after so we can suction fat and then tighten skin. A visit with a few BS PS will let you learn more about what is possible, and most importantly what is safe. Good luck
Thank you for our question. I would recommend the breast lift and TT in one surgery and the BBL with a second surgery in any order. The healing for a BBL requires ou to lay on your abdomen or stand for 2 weeks, and the TT and breast lift requires you to be on your back during recovery. Speak with a PS to discuss if you are a candidate. Best,
Combination procedures are safe and very effective in the right hands. The surgeon HAS to be an expert in EACH procedure and must have a lot of experience in performing combination procedures and can minimize the operative time. For example, we work in a team and would take around 4-5 hours for the complete operation. This allows us to get better results with less surgical time and less trauma. Our patients are typically wlking the same day and tapering off of pain medications by 4-5 days. By a week, our internattional patients are generally touring around Cartagena enjoying the sites of this UNSECO World Heritage City. Patients progress to unrestricted activities by 2 months, just as the final results are settling in.Combination procedures can give powerful results but SAFETY is KEY. You definitely have to choose your surgeon correctly and make sure that he/she has the training and experience to meet your goals with absolute safety. Don’t settle for less than a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with specialized expertise in this procedure.
Thank you for your question. Some Surgeons will perform both procedures atthe same time. I prefer to stage the tummy tuck and BBL to allow for greater viability of the fattransfer. Your silhouette and curve will improve after thesurgery. Good luck and choose a Board certified PlasticSurgeon. Best Wishes
In general combining those procedures may not be the best choice as it can be quite a long procedure. It's a good idea to meet with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in your area to review your options and to help plan the procedure or procedures in such a way that would be the most beneficial, reduce your operative risk and give you the best possible results.
It will probably not be prudent to combine all the surgeries that you want at one time as they will take too long. However, schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area to be assessed in person and discuss. My best,Dr. Sheila Nazarian@drsheilanazarian on Instagram
Without seeing you for a full assessment and reviewing your health history, it is hard to tell. Personally, I prefer to do one to two procedures at once. My reason behind that is to concentrate on the quality and time of the procedure so that it is done right. It is possible to do 3-4 related procedures at once, but this does limit the amount of time the surgeon can focus on each procedure properly and keep the patient safe under anesthesia. I would recommend seeing a qualified, board certified plastic surgeon to do a full assessment and create a treatment plan that is best for you.
It is possible to do several procedures at the same time if you are healthy and have no underlying medical conditions. The important factor for deciding how many procedures can be done is based on the amount of time needed for surgery. If the total time is over 6 hours, I would perform the procedure(s) in a hospital so that the patient can spend the night and be monitored overnight. Lengthier surgeries mean more time under general anesthesia and possibly more blood loss. I would advise you to seek a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon who has experience in performing the surgeries you seek. Good luck with your decision.
Hello and thank you for your question regarding undergoing multiple procedures at the same time, specifically tummy tuck, buttock lift, and breast reduction. There is no specific number. The answer depends on multiple factors. These factors include the length of time under anesthesia, your overall health, the anticipated amount of blood loss, the total length of open incisions, and your tolerance to pain, among others. The tummy tuck and breast reduction is also known as the "mommy makeover". This is a common procedure. However, I would not combine it with a butt lift. I think this is too much surgery at one time. I would suggest either undergoing the "mommy makeover " or having the tummy tuck and butt lift. The combined procedure of the tummy tuck and butt lift it's called a 360 circumferential lower body lift. I would suggest you seek a experienced, qualified, board-certified plastic surgeon. Good luck. If you have any questions regarding tummy tuck, abdominoplasty, breast reduction, buttock lift, or 360 circumferential lower body lift,
Often times other procedures are done at the same time as an abdominoplasty. Your overall health, size, and the efficiency of the surgeon will determine if a particular combination is in your best interests.
Your gynecologist would be the best person to address this issue. Hope that steers you in the right direction -
Prices will vary by region and within each region by Surgeon. Each surgeon may also have slightly different prices for the same procedure depending on what exactly is involved. In the Toronto area you can expect quotes anywhere from $8,000-15,000, other regions of the province may be a bit...
The more that is removed the more likely and longer you will require a drain to remain. Typically it will stay until the fluid is less than 25cc in 24 hours. Another suggestion to help swelling is wearing a compression garment. Regards,
