I am scheduled to have kybella next week. In about 6 weeks I am having a forehead lift, breast lift and fat injections in my cheeks and hallows under my eyes. Should I reschedule the kybella for after the surgery? Will it have any affect on my surgery? Can it dissolve the fat injections?

If you have only a small amount of fat, Kybella may still be better than liposuction, and having it six weeks before surgery will not pose any problem with the planned surgeries. For a large double chin, liposuction instead of Kybella, done at the same time as the other surgeries will be a better option. Liposuction is the gold standard for fat removal and is a quick procedure that can be added to your other procedures.

Answer: Kybella or Liposuction To be honest, since you are already going to be under anesthesia for your other procedures, why not have the surgeon liposuction that area? As effective as Kybella is, liposuction is still the gold standard. Otherwise, I would probably advise you to have the Kybella at the same time as your surgery. Otherwise, the post injection swelling may interfere with your surgery. Hope this helps --
