Can too many kybella treatments make things worse? (photo)

Kybella does require a series of treatments to get improvement. For best results with Kybella, I recommend a combination approach with thermage, ultherapy, exilis. VASER liposuction in combination with ThermiRF is an alternative for contouring the chin, if you're a candidate. The "pudge" of fat can be targeted by Kybella injection directly in to the area of concern. Most patients need 2 to 3 treatments with at least 2 vials so I'm not sure how much more you need based on that photos alone. 
I suggest you discuss with your injector, but up to 4 treatments are safe. 

It sounds as if you need another Kybella treatment. It takes at least 2 for most patients. In terms of the "cords" in your neck, that is a different issue. Botox may help. Speak with a board certified plastic surgeon who can examine you in person.

non-surgical injectable treatment for the double chin. For my patients I recommend starting with at least two treatments and two vials per treatment. We have found that waiting 2-3 months between treatments yields better results. At 2-3 months after the second treatments significant improvement is usually seen. For loose skin overlying it treatments include laser skin tightening, fractional lasers, and radiofrequency devices. Please consult with a doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!

Kybella requires more than one treatment and typically one treatment requires at least two vials. Since there is still fat remaining you should have a second treatment session done.  The cords that you are referring to can be treated with Botox.  Tightening of the neck area can be done with Thermage for a great cosmetic result.  Best, Dr. Green

Thank you for the question. Most clients receiving Kybella for submental fat require more than one treatment so you should be fine receiving another treatment, especially if the injections are targeted to the specific area you are concerned about.

I'm slightly confused with your "1 full treatment plus 1 vial".... Most people need 3 or 4 vials total for an effective result. These vials can be done one at a time, or two per treatment. With that being said, if you have a small "pudge" as you refer to it, then just that area can be treated. The banding that you are referring to has to do with less fat on your neck overall, so you are seeing a tightening or banding.
