Interested in a breast augmentation but starting to think more seriously about a TT/MR/Lipo. I can’t really fathom doing that all plus breast augmentation together. Is there a reason it’s better to do it as one surgery vs two? If I do the augmentation first, will my body change so much from the TT that the implants won’t look right any longer? Is it more cost effective together?
Answer: Combined surgery Hi from Istanbul, I would recommend you to combine those surgeries if you dont have too much fat for liposuction. Even in a combination surgery we almost always start with tummy tuck and then breast surgery because the inframamary fold may alter after tummy tuck so if you want to dived the surgeries my recommendation will be to start with tummy tuck.Best Luck!

Answer: Is It Better to Combine Breast Augmentation with Tummy Tuck and Lipo or Separate Them? Combining breast augmentation with tummy tuck, muscle repair, and liposuction is common and can be safe when planned carefully. Doing everything in one surgery can reduce overall recovery time, anesthesia exposure, and may be more cost-effective. However, staging the procedures is also an option if you prefer a more gradual approach. If you do augmentation first, major changes from a later tummy tuck could slightly affect breast appearance, especially if posture or weight shifts. A personalized consultation a surgeon will help determine the best sequence for your goals and safety. Erman AK, Dr. MD, Plastic Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeon

Answer: Combination of procedures Dear Witty777138, I understand your concern. It is best however that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine whether you can have several aesthetic surgeries in one session, as this would depend on various factors including but not limited to your general health condition, the type of anesthesia that will be used, and the type of surgeries that will be performed among others. Answer: Combining Procedures Hello and thank you for your question! Yes, it is very common and safe to combine those procedures together. The term "mommy makeover" usually implies a surgery on the abdomen and one on the breasts. There can be other areas/procedures combined dependent on patients' needs and priorities. Most people combine procedures to have one downtime rather than two, as well as bundle some cost savings on facility/anesthesia fees. However, it is perfectly acceptable and safe to do surgery in multiple stages/separate times.

Answer: The Choice is yours Hi, So excited for you that you're thinking of making this change for yourself! Recovery from breast augmentation is generally very easy. When done properly, there should be minimal pain, and other than some activity restrictions early on, you should basically be back to normal life within a few days. Tummy tuck is a much more involved recovery. It requires a lot more life planning, at least a couple weeks of planned downtime, and just takes longer to get back on your feet. Adding a breast augmentation doesn't really change the recovery because once you have the tummy tuck to recover from, you will barely even notice any discomfort from the breasts! For this reason, many choose to have them together because it's one recovery. Some choose to do them separately because maybe they don't have time for the tummy tuck recovery and are able to fit the breasts in first. Or they want to focus on the tummy tuck and worry about the breasts later. Ultimately it comes down to your choice in most cases. Your body will get smaller with the tuck, so sometimes that means that breasts can feel proportionately different (they may look relatively larger) but usually there isn't a major effect and you should still be able to be happy either way. Hope this is helpful!

Answer: MMO w/breast aug or separate surgery for augmentation? Thanks so much for your inquire, Combining both procedures into a single surgery can be an effective approach for patients who want to achieve comprehensive results quickly and are in good health. However, it requires careful planning and a clear understanding of the risks, especially in terms of longer anesthesia times and a potentially more difficult recovery. The decision should be based on the patient's health, recovery capacity, and goals. Sincerely, Dr. Emmanuel Mallol
