in my experience Vollure is not as volumizing as Voluma is. but its up to you and your doctor. some physicians Im sure prefer Vollure. there is no right or wrong answer here
Dear Pinklady2012,Radiesse is definitely the way to go for the cheeks. It has the highest lift factor and last 1-2 years. I recommend juvederm for nasal labial lines.Radiesse is one of my favorite fillers for the midface. It stimulates a lot of natural collagen production in addition to being a filler so it tends to look more natural than Voluma. The ability of a filler to "lift" is based on it's G prime, or "hardness." Fillers with a higher G prime can lift more. Voluma has a relatively higher G prime than other products so when injected deeper into the cheek it can create a "lifting" effect. It typically does take a bit more product to achieve this effect, but would be best accomplished with Voluma as compared to other lower G prime products.
Thank you for sharing your excellent question. I would not advocate Vollure for a cheek lift as the product is too thin to achieve meaningful improvement. I would recommend a thicker hyaluronic acid product like Voluma to have the intended effects. Hope this helps.
Both Vollure and Voluma are terrific fillers and I use them regularly. For lifting, Voluma is the superior product whereas Vollure is best for lines and wrinkles. As with all cosmetic treatments, especially when it comes to fillers, the skill of the doctor is of utmost importance. Don't trust your face to just anyone! Consult with an expert in facial aesthetics to maximize your results while minimizing side effects. You'll be happier and save money in the long run.
Dear Realself Friend,Both Juvederm Voluma and Vollure use vycross technology. But, they are different products with different purpose. Voluma has a higher G' and hence it's thicker and better for lifting as you'd want in the malar cheek area. Vollure is a softer product which we use almost like a fine finishing brush for deep concaveties like the nasiolabial folds, around the mouth or the tear trough area. My videos explain this in more detail. Best, Dr. Onir
They really do two different things. Voluma is about restoring volume to the cheek. Vollure is more about providing underlying structure. I would suggest that you make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to be assessed in person and discuss options. I typically use a combination of fillers for best results.
Juvederm Vollure is not an ideal product for the cheeks. It doesn't have the same lifting properties as products like Voluma, Radiesse, and Restylane Lyft, which are much more ideally suited for this area. Vollure has been a fantastic product for nasolabial folds, but it certainly would not be what I would choose for the cheeks. Good luck!
Either filler can be injected but in my experience, neither are good for lifting the cheek. Restylane Lyft and Radiesse are much better for this and usually cost less. See link below for examples.
Hello Pinklady2012,When it comes to fillers some are better designed for a deeper injection, others for more superficial. Others tend to hold more support and others can have a more natural feel. We utilize the characteristics of the various fillers to customize a treatment for the patient. Vollure is made with the same technology as Voluma, but it has different properties. It is softer than Voluma so it can be injected more superficially. However, it won't provide as much hold as Voluma. So to answer your question, yes, you can inject Vollure into the cheek, as softer fillers can always be injected deeper. However, it won't provide as much lift as Voluma or do as good of a job in the cheek area. I'd recommend you consult with a facial plastic surgeon in your area to learn more. I hope this helps and good luck.
As long as it is not volumized to your liking, there is 'room' to place more product in the lips.BestH Karamanoukian MD FACS
There is no contraindication to get filler in Ehlers Danlos or other connective tissue disease. Best Dr Karamanoukian
