Is it okay to bend down minutes after getting Juvederm fillers in face?

Hello , yesterday I have had juvederm fillers ( 3rd cc) great results so far; but, I was wondering what could happen if I accidentally bended my head down minutes after being injected? Can the gel move at this point? I am not very concerned but, I have noticed a bit of swelling under my lip on the right side of my face. ( The fillers were done in my chin area to correct asymmetrical chin) thank you.

I don't think you need to worry about having the product migrating if you are bending. You need to be gentle with the lips for the first couple days and not drink through straws, smoke or excessively kiss and you will be fine!

Thank you for your inquiry. Bending over after receiving fillers is perfectly fine. I advise all my patients to not get any facials or massages post fillers to avoid any ribbing and product movement. Bending over is not recommended post Botox treatments for at least 4 hours after receiving treatment. Always ask for post op instructions from your surgeon.

Thank you for your question. It is perfectly fine to bend over after getting lip fillers. Just be careful with the lips for the first few days. I advise no smoking, or using straws post treatment. Just be gentle, and you will be fine!

Don't worry. It is ok to bend over after filler in the lips. However, you do want to treat your lips with care for the first few days so be gentle.

You should be just fine.  Juvederm should not move after being injected & bending your head down for a few minutes shouldn't have done anything damaging :)  Swelling can be normal after injections as well.

Thank you for your excellent question.  I recommend that my patients avoid bending, heavy lifting and strenuous activities for 24 hours after receiving Juvederm.  The purpose of this recommendation is to minimize normal postprocedure swelling and bruising.  Juvedem is unlikley to migrate.  Based on what you described, you should be just fine.  Please keep in mind that it will take 2 weeks to allow for normal postprocedure swelling and bruising, if present, to fully resolve and to see your final result.  Please be sure to address any specific questions or concerns to your injector.  Hope this helps and best wishes!

It is fine to bend over. I generally instruct my patients to check for any lumps the night of the filler treatment because it is easier to gently massage them away as opposed to discovering them at a later time.

Swelling is universally seen if its in the lips, however can be noted with other injection points. Glad to know you liked the 3 cc of Juvederm. Filler migration is no problem with gravity, so don't worry. The swelling will go down with ice, and will be normal by the end of the week.
