I recommend lymphatic massage after liposuction along with hyperbaric oxygen and your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Best, Dr. Emer
There is no objective data that any of these type of products work to improve outcomes, but intuitively it makes some sense. By massaging the donor areas you can help relax the tissues, smooth out any firm areas, and help decrease swelling. As long as it does not cause pain or discomfort then why not give it a try and see if it makes a difference. I hope this helps.
Thanks for the question, many patients of mine have tried the "fascia blaster" that seems to work, check it out. Good luck!
Gentle massage is beneficial and lymphatic massage is also preferred for the leg and thigh after liposuction. Currently we do not recommend home massagers after liposuction, though what ever you choose, have your surgeon keep track of your recovery and progress.
There is no evidence that any of these products help after liposuction so recommendations are not possible.
