I got lipo done on my inner and back thigh, currently 16 days post op. I was perfectly fine the first week, but since have started to feel pain and tightness at the back of my thigh on both legs. I feel severe pain when I get up after sitting down or sleeping. Need to get up slowly and pain goes away after a couple of minutes. Have put on ace bandage on both my thighs, then the pain and tightness is lessened and bearable. Is this normal? Should I be concerned? Is there a fix

Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry to hear of your recovery difficulties.  Though nothing replaces an in-person examination for more definite diagnosis, you are likely either experiencing swelling of your thigh tissues or cramping of your leg muscles.  Both can give patients the feeling of "tightness" and make it difficult to move early in the morning.  I would voice your concerns to your surgeon and continue use of a compression garment for symptom control.  Hope this helps.
