Thank you for your question. It is not uncommon for patients to experience odor after rhinoplasty surgery and daily saline nasal irrigation will help the smell dissipate more quickly. Make sure to attend your routine post-operative appointments with your surgeon so that he/she may be able to address any questions or concerns you may have. Good luck!
Thank you for your question. It is not uncommon to have a foul odor especially if you had a septoplasty and turbinate work done also. Start nasal irrigations and saline throughout the day. If not improved, please see your surgeon. You may need oral and topical antibiotics. Good luck.
You should see your surgeon for an evaluation. A malodorous odor can be a sign of an infection even in the absence of purulent drainage. An intranasal examination is critical and if your surgeon does not perform a nasal endoscopy, you should see an ENT for an evaluation. Best wishes!
After rhinoplasty the interior of your nose is traumatized. If turbinate work was done then there is a loss of normal mucous membrane. It is not unusual for there to be an odor for a while. Regular use of saline nose washes should help.
See your surgeon to see if he used an artificial scab while doing your Rhinoplasty. If so, it should already be gone. Sometimes, patients will notice an odor from that.

The first 6 months post rhinoplasty is a rollercoaster of emotion. I usually tell patients to try and not focus on sammler things until 3 months when we can make small adjustments. There is still swelling there, but it does not look like an open roof deformity at this time.
You need to have patience with your body as it begins to heal. The skin, bone and cartilage are all traumatized during surgery. Inflammation (swelling) is the normal response and will help your nose to heal and look beautiful in the end. If, one year from now, you are unhappy with your nose,...
Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. You may also benefit from a cephalic rotation of your tip to turn up your tip slightly. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have ha...
Hello thank you for your question and provided information as well..based on your question one of the main care is not to use peeling or aggressive chemicals the first 5 months post surgery, not to take sun until 6 months to not stain the skin, and most importantly to use during all that time...
