My experience with Dr. Greenwald was amazing! I have no regrets about this experience because I am so happy with my results! Dr. Greenwald was completely accommodating, answered all my questions and was very reliable throughout the entire experience and even after. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.
I felt like a blob. Dr. G knew just what I wanted and needed. He also explained no matter how much excercise and or diet my belly was not going to go away without help. He came in before the surgery and did his marking letting me see what he was going to do. Was a bit tough first several days but worth the pain. The surgery was done 2013 still looking good imo.
Dr. Greenwald is absolutely a phenomenal physician and plastic surgeon! He is extremely thorough, attenetivie and wants you to achieve the results YOU want to achieve! Don't think twice, because you are physically in good hands with him! Not only does the care start with his ENTIRE office staff and team but radiates through every single office visit, surgery and post op visits! I was a patient who lost over 200lbs and was looking to get an extensive amount of loose skin chopped off! Dr. Greenwald changed my life!
I had an excellent experience with Dr. Greenwald and his staff. I have been through multiple treatments and have been pleased with the results each time. His staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended.
Great experience, Very Professional, I love Dr. Greenwald staff, I love my results . I am a repeat customer and have had a mini tummy tuck and liposuction on my flanks. I highly recommended Dr. Greenwald.
I had the full MtF bottom sugery with Dr. Greenwald and I am pleased to say that I am very happy with the results and the experience was relatively painless. Staff was very kind and gentle, I was checked in on frequently in the days following the surgery, and I had relatively low pain after the catheter and plug were removed. After a couple months and the stage 2 surgery, my vagina looks great, I have no discomfort or pain, and I have full sensitivity. Any time I had any minor issue, I was able to call and talk to a nurse from his office 24/7. Dr. Greenwald gives great results and the whole time he and his team treat you like a human.
I had a totally positive experience with Dr. Greenwald. I had breast reconstruction surgery after a double mastectomy by another doctor out of state. Moving to Florida I then needed to be seen by a new plastic surgeon. Dr. Greenwald pointed out the implants I had were too wide and flat for my body, which I agreed but I had just accepted this was how they were going to look. Dr. Greenwald recommended a different shape and size implant. I am so happy I took Dr. Greenwald’s recommendation and had the old implants removed and the new ones put in. The surgery was a breeze and what a difference with the new implants. Besides being concerned about my physical appearance and health, he was also concerned about my physiological well-being after overcoming breast cancer and having a double mastectomy. I now have normal looking breast and I feel so much happier and feel more complete. Dr. Greenwald’s staff is super friendly and very professional. Updated on 27 Mar 2019: I could not be more pleased with Dr. Greenwald and his staff. Always very professional and caring. I had gone through a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery out of state. After moving to Florida I was seen by Dr. Greenwald. Dr. Greenwald recommended a revised reconstructive breast surgery as my breast looked flat and were too wide. After the revised surgery my breast looked a lot more normal and do not feel like they are intruding under my arms. In March I had the nipple and aereola surgery placement. I didn't think at first it would make that big of a difference but I am so glad I had it done as I can say my breast look great. Dr. Greenwald is a very skilled surgeon and truly cares about your mental well being.
I had breast reduction surgery done with Dr. Greenwald on August 1, 2018 but let me tell you about my experiences before I met him. I first went to a female plastic surgeon who looked at my breasts and said there is no way I'm more than a C cup (I wore a 30 F or G) and refused to submit my request to insurance because she said there are plenty of other women who "truly need" the surgery and don't get approved. She then went on to say that I might want to reconsider having the surgery at all because "if you ever meet someone you'll have to explain what you did to yourself and they might not like it". After that I went to a different surgeon. He was very nice and said he would submit my request to insurance but seemed unsure that it would get approved. After a couple of months I hadn't heard anything so I called them and the secretary said they hadn't even submitted my request yet but they would soon. A month after that they still hadn't submitted it so I moved on. I found Dr. Greenwald through my insurance plan and from all of the amazing reviews I knew I had to meet him. He was very friendly and very confident. He was certain he could get my insurance approved. It took 10 weeks even though they said it would be 4-6 to hear from the insurance but that's all behind me now. I'm about 4 months post op now and sometimes I still can't believe I finally had this surgery done. And I was lucky enough to have Dr. Greenwald as my surgeon. I actually get to focus on my life now. I actually get to leave the house without a bra. Recovery was pretty easy for me, the worst part was just the itching and a sore throat from the tube they put down your throat during surgery. I can now wear a 32C, although I don't. If I wear a bra it's just a bralette or a sports bra for the gym. I could never thank Dr. Greenwald enough. I never know what to say to him to thank him. If you've had bad experiences with other surgeons, don't give up. Go to Dr. Greenwald.
A friend had recommended Dr. Greenwald after her breast reduction experience. She said a few things that made me put him at the top of my list of potential surgeons: the number of times he had performed the surgery, his compassion, the ease of the operation and post-op follow ups, and his excellent staff. I interviewed 3 surgeons before deciding to go with Dr. G. He was respectful, understanding of pain large breasts had caused me for 30+ years, and realistic about what outcomes I could expect. The day of the surgery we got bumped up in priority, and although I was nervous, everyone was supportive. I will not say post-op recovery was easy, it was far from it. Ice packs, comfortable bedding, and my caring husband made a huge difference. Dr. G. called to check on me, and at the first follow-up appointment, he calmed my surprise at the amount of swelling and bruising. I am now 2 months out from surgery, and I could not be happier with my new size and shape of breasts. My scars are diminishing daily, and my clothes fit so much better - something I didn't expect to have a strong reaction to, but psychologically, it has made a difference in my self-esteem. I truly appreciate the kind and honest attitude of the entire office staff. They exude caring and take time to answer questions by phone, email, or in person. Dr. G. is exemplary, and I am thankful he is the surgeon I chose.
Dr. Greenwald is able to perform both surgeries due to the fact that he has oncology training and is a board certified plastic surgeon. He was sympathetic to my situation and empathetic to my postoperative pain. He is caring, compassionate and a perfectionist when it comes to the surgical outcomes. Look no further...
Before considering abdominal surgery after abdominal liposuction I would wait 8-12 weeks to allow for full recovery and normal tissue metabolism. There is no reason to "reverse" the etching that you have had; the tummy tuck will tighten the skin and body wall for a flatter contour.Be sure to use someone certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery who can show you a comprehensive portfolio of pre- and post-op pictures so you can gauge the types of results that are reasonable to expect.
A well-performed facelift provides a natural result without distortions. The key to a good result that will last 12-15 years is procedure that tightens the supporting tissue of the skin (the SMAS layer) and does NOT rely on skin tension. Your surgeon should be able to describe this technique in terms that make sense. Skin lifts, "lunchtime lifts," etc. depend on pulling of the skin. This can distort facial features and will not last very long as the skin has an unlimited capacity to stretch.Be sure to use someone certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery who can show you a comprehensive portfolio of pre- and post-op pictures so you can gauge the types of results that are reasonable to expect.
Your experience of having 40-50% survival after fat grafting is typical. Another similar procedure will result in more retained volume, but you will still only get a 40-50% "take." This is a function of the unreliable of fat grafting.
You have a normal degree of facial asymmetry. A facelift procedure should reduce neck banding, clean the jaw line by reducing the jowls and minimizing marionette lines, and restore a more youthful appearance by lifting the midface. You are an excellent candidate for this since you have good bone structure and little excess fat. Be sure to use someone certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery who can show you a comprehensive portfolio of pre- and post-op pictures so you can gauge the types of results that are reasonable to expect.
From your photos there is no evidence of any need for facelift surgery. Good skin care is important to maintain elasticity. Use sun block, avoid tobacco, and enjoy your recent weight loss!
