I have a hump on my back/neck... I guess it's called a "buffalo hump" and I'm extremely self conscious about it. Standing up straight helps to minimize the look of it but you can still tell it is there...Is there any procedure that can correct or help with this hump?

Answer: Liposuction for upper back Yes liposuction is an excellent way to handle this condition. The web link provided has examples of various body locations. I do have pictures treating such a condition in my office but not on the web. Michael Kulick MD Board Certified Plastic Surgeon - San Francisco, Ca. Answer: Liposuction candidate Dear tantantanya, based on your photo, you look like a good candidate for a liposuction. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
