I had a tummy liposuction 10 weeks ago and i developed a hard area where was supposed to be an ab crack . My surgeon told to massage myself 3 times a day but nothing happened. Is this normal and will it go away ? I’m so scared because my tummy was much better before

It appears you have fibrous banding/scar tissue that ia developing after a contouring porcedure. If you a re unhappy with your results please speak to your physician and ensure he was a full body VASER HD liposuction physciain wtih expensive experience in body shaping and not just traditional fat reduction. At this point you should be. using compression, RF treatments like venus legacy and exilis, and lymphatic massage to get you through healing. If you do not do t his type of scarring can be permanent. Sorry you are having these issues, and it appears that you have undergone very aggressive liposuction in that area, trying to re-create an anatomical structure difficult to achieve. This may resolve with aggressive self massage two or three times a day.  External ultrasound treatment may be of some benefit.  Allow at least six months for recovery, and try not to be tempted by other sexy cure all maneuvers that will do nothing other than shrink your pocketbook. I appreciate your questions! Ten weeks is too short of a time to evaluate your liposuction final outcome. I typically advise my patients that, without lymphatic drainage massages, there is a risk that the swelling and inflammation could turn into fibrosis, which is a permanent hardening of the area. At least ten lymphatic drainage massage sessions are required, starting 24 hours after the procedure, to eliminate excess lymph fluid, alleviate swelling and discomfort, and also prevent complications such as seromas (fluid collection) and contour irregularities (indentations, and/or fibrosis). In my experience, manual lymphatic massages by their own have proven successful, in the majority of cases, in achieving uniform removal of swelling and ensuring smooth contours. If you are still dissatisfied with the outcome after the swelling recedes, consult with your aesthetic plastic surgeon about your particular concerns and improvements’ options. Hope this is helpful! Thanks for the question, it looks like you had some aggressive liposuction. In order to soften things up soon instead of waiting a year I would get into a lymphatic drainage massage therapist. I would also combine that with external radio frequency treatments with venuslegacy devices. The scarring tends to settle but can take a long time without active intervention. Hang in there you will look awesome!
