Hi @xersjx! I would see your injector for an in-person examination. If the dermal fillers are still present are bothersome, hyaluronidase can be used to reverse the filler. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
Thank you for sharing your question. Unfortunately the purported duration of Voluma is 2 years and due to its incorporation into your tissues it would not migrate. I would see your surgeon or injector for an in-person examination to review your current results and to offer guidance on treatment.
Dear xersjx,Thank you for your question. I recommend you seek repeat evaluation with your provider who performed the Voluma injection. If they confirm that there is still persistent filler in certain areas of your face and neck that you are unhappy with, they can they discuss the treatment options with you, which may include hyaluronidase to reverse the filler.
Thank you for your questions. It if difficult what is exactly going on without an in person evaluation. Voluma does not last more than a year, I would suggest being evaluated by your injector to find out what is causing the problem you are having.
This is difficult to answer without an in-person evaluation. This is unlikely, but if there is Voluma present, it can be reversed with hyaluronidase. It may take a series of treatments. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Adding Voluma to build up your cheekbones is not equivalent to pushing on the apples of your cheek. The hyaluronic-acid based filler is injected deeply into the skin, where it plumps it up and strengthens it. The volume actually pulls the eyelid skin slightly outward, rather than bunching it up....

Hi, thank you for your question! I always recommend to patients to avoid using makeup for at least 6-8 hours post injection. Yes, it is ok to wear makeup 24hrs post injection.
