I am currently one month post op from getting a bbl and I still have no hips. I have a good size butt , but no hips. I really want hips. I want to know how long I would have to wait to get Sculptra to put in my hip dips
Answer: Sculptra Injections for Nice Curves in Hips Sculptra is a wonderful way to create subtle volume and shape in the buttock and hip area and is perfectly safe to use there. It is much more common to place Sculptra in the buttocks versus the hips, but Sculptra can be placed in the hips. You would generally need four vials per hip placed in two sessions to be able to see enough of a result. Please note that a Sculptra BBL is much subtler than a traditional BBL, but it will give you a cuter, curvier figure. It can also smooth out the skin and help with cellulite. Please find a board-certified dermatologist to evaluate your hips and see if you’re a good candidate for Sculptra.

Answer: Sculptra YES you can use it in the hip areas and buttocks but you won't get the volume that a fat transfer can give. It will take time to see the result and the results will only last 2 years. Why not go back to your provider and add more fat for a more permanent solution. Hope this helps. JB

However, its too early for another procedure and you should discuss timing of Sculptra with your plastic surgeon before getting the procedure performed.

The best candidates for this procedure are those who are very thin, who need small volume improvements or who have focal areas of concern. Generally, most patients need 2-3 treatments of high volume sculptra to see results. The main areas this is beneficial is the upper lateral buttock and hips to provide smoother contours.

It can also be used to fill in small areas of volume loss, including those after a BBL such as the hip dips. Keep in mind that Sculptra butt lifts usually require multiple vials over multiple treatment sessions and results will never be as dramatic as a brazilian butt lift. However, in the appropriate candidates nice improvement can be seen. We combine the treatment with our HIFEM butt lifting procedure for optimal results. I would wait until you are fully healed from your BBL and cleared by your surgeon. Make sure you see an expert to minimize risk of complications. Best wishes.
