Can I get Sculptra injected into my hip dips to make curvier figure? (I have a bbl)

I am currently one month post op from getting a bbl and I still have no hips. I have a good size butt , but no hips. I really want hips. I want to know how long I would have to wait to get Sculptra to put in my hip dips

Sculptra is a wonderful way to create subtle volume and shape in the buttock and hip area and is perfectly safe to use there. It is much more common to place Sculptra in the buttocks versus the hips, but Sculptra can be placed in the hips. You would generally need four vials per hip placed in two sessions to be able to see enough of a result. Please note that a Sculptra BBL is much subtler than a traditional BBL, but it will give you a cuter, curvier figure. It can also smooth out the skin and help with cellulite. Please find a board-certified dermatologist to evaluate your hips and see if you’re a good candidate for Sculptra.

YES you can use it in the hip areas and buttocks but you won't get the volume that a fat transfer can give. It will take time to see the result and the results will only last 2 years. Why not go back to your provider and add more fat for a more permanent solution. Hope this helps. JB

Congratulations on your recent BBL. Sculptra works to volumize the hips and I've seen it work well in other areas of the body as well. However, its too early for another procedure and you should discuss timing of Sculptra with your plastic surgeon before getting the procedure performed.

Sculptra can be a good option for those seeking non-invasive augmentation of the hips and buttocks.   The best candidates for this procedure are those who are very thin, who need small volume improvements or who have focal areas of concern.  Generally, most patients need 2-3 treatments of high volume sculptra to see results.   The main areas this is beneficial is the upper lateral buttock and hips to provide smoother contours.

Sculptra butt injections can help add volume and lift the buttocks in those individuals that do not have enough fat for a traditional brazilian butt lift, or do not want to undergo a surgical procedure. It can also be used to fill in small areas of volume loss, including those after a BBL such as the hip dips. Keep in mind that Sculptra butt lifts usually require multiple vials over multiple treatment sessions and results will never be as dramatic as a brazilian butt lift. However, in the appropriate candidates nice improvement can be seen. We combine the treatment with our HIFEM butt lifting procedure for optimal results. Hello. Seeing as that your are only 1 month out from your BBL procedure, we recommend you wait at least 6 months before doing anything additional. You still have a lot of healing to do and things will look different once fully healed. If after 6 months you still feel you want more volume, Sculptra is a good non surgical option. Good luck!

Yes, Scuptra can be used for improvement of your hip curves (It takes a number of vilas though), or additional fat can be transferred once you are completely healed from your BBL.  If you have tight bands at your hip that prevent expanding the skin, release of the bands can be done with fat sculpting done at the same time.

You are still healing from your BBL which I hope was done here in the US by a reputable plastic surgeon. You should give yourself at least two more months for the swelling and the healing process to be completed. After that time you can be evaluated by a plastic surgeon like myself who uses Sculptra for such procedures.
