Im a 64-year-old woman, 510, 115 lbs, with a naturally slim face. In the past I had good results with filler, and a provider recommended Sculptra as a longer-term option. Over the course of 12 months, I had 3 sessions (2 vials each time total of 6 vials), all placed in the lower face/jawline only. No product was used in my cheeks, temples, or upper face. I was told that treating the lower face would help lift the whole face and cheeks. I dont look better. Ive since read that Sculptra is typically placed in the upper and mid-face first, and sessions are usually spaced closer together. Is lower face only over 12 months ever considered appropriate? Im just trying to understand whether this approach aligns with standard protocol. Id appreciate any insight.
I get Botox in forehead and crows feet however this is when I smile. 30's thin face, avid gym go'er. I've tried getting Botox to correct this area to no success. I also use tretinoin. I sleep on my right side and don't see that changing (Lol). I don't like the puffy filler look at ALL. So I'm curious as on what to do... or skin pen? I research a lot! Thx!
I need to get a booster shot for the hepatitis B vaccination. Do I need to wait any amount of time before/after the Hep B vaccination to get a Sculptra treatment in my face? Does it matter if I do the Sculptra or the vaccination first? Would it be better to do one before the other to avoid a longer waiting period? Or maybe there is no correlation between the two? If there is a correlation and one does affect the other, why? Thanks!
While I was visiting the UK (I live in the US), I had Hyacorp MLF 1 filler injected into the indentations on my inner thighs. These indents were caused by receiving too many radiofrequency (RF) treatments. Unfortunately, the Hyacorp filler led to the formation of granulomasred, inflamed bumps that flare up intermittently. Ive been using Triamcinolone cream, which helps calm the inflammation when it flares, but the indents themselves havent improved. Im now considering Sculptra as an alternative, but Im worried it could also cause granulomas. I understand Hyacorp is hyaluronic acid-based and can be dissolved, but Sculptra cannot. That makes me hesitant. My questions are: Are some people more prone to developing granulomas from fillers? Given my reaction to Hyacorp, should I avoid Sculptra? If so, is there another injectable you would recommend that is both effective for volume loss and has a lower risk of granuloma formation?
Picture is AFTER 1cc of voluma. I had cheek implants years ago that really accentrated my pyriform hollowness. I also had a smas facelift that didn't address this as it's not a matter of sagging. And im only 28 What is best to treat this bothersome issue? Do i need another 1cc of voluma? I'm scared of increasing migration risk. I like the immediate-ness of bellafill - is that safe here? Does renuva actually work? Thank you!
I feel like my face is very downward facing and makes me look angry and unapproachable sometimes. Can sculptra give me more prominent cheekbones, jawline, and a more rejuvenated look? Ive had filler before and has migrated so am afraid to go back to that.
