I am not sure if I have enough fat on my body to transfer to the buttock so if one decides to do sculptra injections on the buttock and then gains weight and also wants more volume to the buttock could one then go and get a bbl?
Answer: Sculptra Before BBL Sculptra butt injections can help add volume and lift the buttocks in those individuals that do not have enough fat for a traditional brazilian butt lift, or do not want to undergo a surgical procedure. It can also be used to fill in small areas of volume loss, including those after a BBL. Keep in mind that Sculptra butt lifts usually require multiple vials over multiple treatment sessions and results will never be as dramatic as a brazilian butt lift. However, in the appropriate candidates nice improvement can be seen. We combine the treatment with our HIFEM butt lifting procedure for optimal results. If you do not currently have enough fat for a BBL then you can do Sculptra in the meantime. Make sure you see an experienced physician injector for an in-person consultation and evaluation and to minimize the risks of complications. Best wishes.

Answer: Shaping the butt with Sculptra, fat transfer, prp, implants--See an expert Thank you for your question. Yes, Sculptra can be used to improve the shape of the buttocks. Keep in mind, the buttocks need numerous vials of Sculptra over time to build volume, and in some instances the results are subtle and will need to be combined with fat or implants to achieve desired results. I recommend seeing a body shaping expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Sculptra then BBL Thank you for your question. For those individuals that do not have enough body fat for fat grafting to the buttock, sculptra may indeed be a viable alternative to fat. There is no downtime with sculptra, and in most cases it can be done in a office setting under local anesthesia. Please keep in mind that more than one session of injections may be necessary to provide the desired result. For minor dimpling and buttock creases and irregularities, 4 vials may correct the contouring issues and give the desired result. However for a more dramatic change in contour, 10 to 20 vials or more may be necessary to give a more noticeable result. MY suggestion to you would be to consult with someone who can give you an adequate assessment of your body fat and have one procedure or the other. You may want to start with sculptra injections for the convenience, and then decide to proceed with a full BBL. However, understand that you own fat is the "gold standard" for dramatic changes in buttock contour.

Answer: The right approach to BBL First of all, no one should ever gain weight for a BBL. Weight gain will be followed eventually by weight loss which is difficult in many people and will leave you with stretched skin and the fat which was placed into your buttocks will disappear with the weight loss. You need to be evaluated by plastic surgeon like myself who will determine if you have or have not enough fat for a BBL. If you do have enough fat, then have BBL done the right way and if you do not, then you should have the BBL done with Sculptra only. Good luck from New York City
