I wouldn't recommend thrill rides for patients with hernias. They might suffer incarceration which can lead to intestinal death. However, a diastasis is a separaion of the muscles with no discrete hole. The tissue bulges but nothing can be trapped. So if all you have is separated muscles, take the ride and have fun.
Dear TaylorMuscle separation in itself is not impacted by thrill rides. If uncomfortable, a support garment might provide additional support.
Abdominal muscle separation or weakness is not a contraindication to go on thrill rides. The condition is not a true hernia which potentially might be a contraindication. There is no danger having laxity of the abdominal wall muscles.
I am assuming you mean a rectus diastasis when you describe separated abdominal muscles. In general, there should be absolutely no contraindications to going on a thrill ride. Of course, if you have any questions, you should absolutely seek the advice of a board-certified plastic surgeon or your primary care doctor as a start.I wish you the best.Dr. Gabbay.
Thank you for your question. Separated stomach muscles do not prevent patients from going on thrill rides, so enjoy!
Assuming you are referring to a diastasis, you will be completely safe going on rides and doing whatever you like.
Thank you for the question Separation of the muscle or diastasis recti is not a contraindication to go on thrill rides. I hope this helps. Best wishes.
Hi, taylor skeet.I am assuming that you have diastasis recti (separation of your abdominal muscle). It should be safe to go on thrill rides. Have a great time.
Generally speaking, abdominal wall muscle separation (diastasis) should not prevent a person from participating in "thrill rides". Keep in mind, that specific medical advice should be obtained from physicians who are able to see you in person. Best wishes.
