I chose Mr Winterton as a surgeon for my breast reduction because i could identify myself in his extensive gallery photos of his patient's 'Before' photos. Throughout every consultation he was professional and caring and I felt truly looked after throughout the entire process from beginning to end.
I am THRILLED with my results! It has been a truly life changing experience and I would highly reccomend Mr Winterton as a surgeon for anyone interested in surgery - You are in capable, safe hands with him.

After meeting with three different surgeons, I knew the moment I met Rob that he was the one I wanted to perform my surgery. I had a full tummy tuck, liposuction, and a breast lift, and from the very beginning, I felt completely at ease. Rob has a very personable, honest, and down-to-earth approach, with a great sense of humour that instantly puts you at ease. There was no hard sell, just a genuine conversation about what I wanted to achieve and what I could realistically expect from the results – and he was absolutely right.

The entire process was smooth and professional, from the quick and easy booking to the exceptional care I received before, during, and after my procedure. I felt like I was in safe hands every step of the way.

Special mention must go to Vicky and Alison – they were both lovely, incredibly attentive, and made the experience even more comfortable with their kindness and outstanding people skills.

The aftercare was second to none, although I didn’t need much – I healed incredibly well. Rob was always available to answer any of my questions and even offered to jump on a call if I had any worries. His level of care goes far beyond the operating room – he genuinely cares about his patients and their journey.

Now, a few months on, my results are truly amazing. The scarring is very discreet and continues to fade with each passing week. At 46, I feel like I have a body that’s 20 years younger! I’m so glad I chose Rob – he’s an exceptionally talented surgeon, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone considering cosmetic surgery.

I came to my consultation with zero confidence and not really knowing what could be done.
I'd done plenty of research beforehand on different surgeons and clinics and decided to book a private consultation with Mr Winterton.

At the consultation I was immediately put at ease, felt comfortable and listened to! Straight away Mr Winterton talked through all my options - including a referral to the NHS so I wouldn't have to pay private fees!

I decided to go ahead with the surgery and Mr Winterton was honest and realistic about what I could expect my results to be.
My medical history is complex so I wasn't expecting a miracle, I just wanted to feel normal and enjoy time with my children without my huge tummy getting in the way!

I was very nervous for surgery but the hospital staff were amazing and couldn't have done enough for me.

My recovery was smooth and I had regular check ins from Mr Winterton himself.

I can honestly say now; 6 months after my surgery, it feels like it has been a miracle. My scarring is neat and my recovery has been brilliant. I have found the whole team to be approachable and just genuinely caring, nothing is too much trouble they are so very helpful.

This is the best decision I have made. I would recommend Mr Winterton and his team to anyone considering private health care. He has completely changed my life for the better. I am not held back anymore and I'm happy and content in my own skin.

I had previously had upper arm (reduction) surgery which was carried out by Mr Winterton and despite a number of alternative recommendations from friends, I knew who I trusted to carry out my bilateral breast reduction surgery.

I made my first contact with Vicki, who provided me with written information regarding the procedure including the price. This enabled me to prepare for my consultation with Mr Winterton and gave me some time to think about the questions which I needed to ask.

On arrival at my consultation, Mr Winterton gave me and my husband a warm welcome and we discussed my preferences with regard to a breast reduction or a breast lift. From the information that Mr Winterton gave me (regarding the differences in operations), I decided to opt for a breast reduction as I felt that I needed to reduce the size and weight of my breasts. I had a second consultation before the operation date in order to have an opportunity to discuss any concerns or questions which may have arisen since my first visit. My appointment for surgery was confirmed.

All pre -operative tests were carried out at the hospital by very friendly and caring staff and the day of my operation arrived. I was shown to my room, which was clean and comfortable and more pre op tests were carried out.

Before my surgery, I was visited by Mr Winterton who explained the surgery once more and outlined (literally - with a pen) what would happen during the surgery and the expected outcomes. I was also seen by the anaesthetist who had a lovely manner and was very reassuring.

When I was fully awake after the operation, I was over the moon with the [immediate] results of the surgery (there was some swelling) and was relatively pain free. I attended an appointment with Mr Winterton 1 week after the surgery whilst the dressings were removed and was so pleased with the results. Mr Winterton gave me advice on looking after my skin and the scars after my dressings were removed.

I am now 8 weeks post operation and I am 100% leased with the outcome of the surgery which is all due to Mr Winterton"s skill in this type of surgery. My scars can hardly be seen

Throughout the process I was fully supported by Mr Winterton and his surgical team (anaesthetist and theatre staff) and his team at the Beeches (Adminatrative staff and nurses) with special thanks to Vicki who couldn't be more supportive despite me asking the silliest of questions.

The service provided by Mr Winterton is first class. He explained everything in a clear and understandable manner, inviting questions and following up with a written dialogue of discussions. He offered support and advice throughout the consultations and was sensitive to my needs. He was professional in all aspects of his role but was caring, reassuring and kind especially before I went into surgery. He ensured I felt suitably recovered to go home when he visited post operation the next day. Nothing was too much trouble for him and his team and I would recommend Mr Winterton for his surgical service on all accounts.

As for the results of the surgery, I am one happy woman; my confidence has increased and I no longer suffer from back and neck pain due to the weight of my breasts. I am able to wear clothes which I couldn't before and gone are the days of 'popping' buttons on my blouses.

As soon as I met Mr Winterton, I instinctively knew he was the surgeon I wanted to perform my surgery. I had met and had consultations with three other surgeons, and in fact booked my surgery elsewhere. However, I just had this feeling I hadn't found the right surgeon yet, until I thankfully and finally found Mr Winterton. I found Rob through word of mouth via three separate friends/friends of friends and this inspired me to go ahead and book yet another consultation, as all of these people spoke so so highly of him! It was of the utmost importance to me that I felt 100% assured that it was going to be performed to the best standard, and just as important to be assured by the after care too!
Mr Winterton's explanation of the surgery along with his sound and realistic expectations of the outcome from the type of surgery I wished to go ahead with, were very clear and easily understood. He even did some hand drawings to assist his explanations and ease the understanding and to ensure I also was realistic with my own expectations. He actively listened to all my concerns and wishes. I didn't ever feel rushed or pushed in any direction. With Mr Rob Winterton EVERYTHING just felt perfect, the location of the hospital, his team and he just has a way of putting you at ease with his very approachable, friendly, kind and caring manner. He is very knowledgeable, very experienced and extremely professional, very helpful and supportive.
The hospital care was amazing from the moment I was greeted in the reception area to the nurses on the ward and the physio team again very kind, helpful and professional. Rob came to see me on the ward prior to the surgery and again he put me at ease as did his anaesthetist. Any of Mr Winterton's team I was lucky enough to meet, were just amazing, their professionalism and their skills at putting me at ease. I was completely relaxed, felt cared for and felt assured that I was in very capable and very experienced hands. The surgery went really well and I feel the results are outstanding, so much better than my expectations. There are times when you do just have to trust the process of healing and the time scales given. Mr Winterton and his team absolutely know what they are doing! Mr Winterton's knowledge and expertise has allowed me to feel proud of my body again after having four large babies and then going through menopause which brought even more body changes. I now truly feel fantastic. I can't remember the last time I felt like this about myself, but it is probably when I was in my twenties and I am currently about to hit fifty! I didn't think it was possible! I feel Rob has given me a part of my life back that I thought was long gone in my opinion ,completely changing my self body image. I hated everything about my body before the surgery. I felt I had to dress to hide myself, with very loosely fitted long tops to hide my tummy. I didn't even like getting undressed in front of my own husband, even though we have together for over twenty years. I hated going on holiday, I certainly couldn't wear a bikini, I felt I could only wear a loose fitted tankini so that my tummy wasn't as obvious. Not to mention the pain I was suffering with in my neck, shoulders and back from my heavy breasts. Again I couldn't wear the clothes that I wanted to, due to the size of my breasts. The bras I had to wear, just seemed ugly to me due to the extra thick straps.
The pulling of these thick straps on my shoulders caused damage to my bone structure and I required various surgery procedures on my shoulder. which included having bone removed. I had just been referred for even more bone removal off my collar bone caused by the constant weight bearing down on the bra strap! I also had constant indentations where the bra straps pulled down on my shoulders which caused neurological issues such as constant tingling down my neck and spine. In the warmer months of the year I would get quite sore skin from sweating under the boob area too. This surgery has changed my life in so many ways. I no longer have any shoulder, neck and back pain. Genuinely it has completely gone. I had been suffering for years! My tummy is flat, I no longer have a huge tummy bulge from having four babies and two of them c-sections. I can now wear a simple t-shirt, even a tight fitted t-shirt. I was definitely in my twenties when I could happily wear a tight fitted t-shirt. No longer any need to wear long oversized tops to hide away in. This procedure was life changing! I haven't been on holiday yet but I can't wait to go and wear a bikini! It has improved my mental health and self love dramatically. I am enjoying living in my own body again. It has been almost twenty years of hating my own body, so I can't thank Rob and his whole team enough! I just wish I'd done it sooner and not suffered with this self hatred and pain for so long!
I do also need to mention the after care. After surgery I feel the team and especially Mr Winterton went above and beyond. During the first couple of weeks I feel I had lots of queries and worries which I needn't have had, however, Mr Winterton always offered assurance, he even offered to see me for my self assurance even though it was his day off and in fact he was actually going on holiday that very day, he offered this to make sure my mind could be put at ease. As I said prior ''above and beyond'' I felt truly cared for! All the team at some point have really helped me, Alison, Mr Winterton's nurse, again has gone above and beyond with her kindness, help and support, and Vicki the practice manager is helpful and so lovely too! They are all such a supportive, caring team!
I can honestly say I would not need to look elsewhere if I was to consider any other surgery. If you are considering surgery I would urge you to look no further. Mr Rob Winterton in my opinion is the best surgeon out there, hands down. From consultation, through to the amazing surgery, through to the outstanding after care. 5 star throughout from start to finish! The whole process for me can only be described as incredible! I am so extremely happy with what Mr Winterton has achieved with my body and it is worth every single penny! My only regret is not getting it done sooner! I can't thank Rob enough!! After a health and fitness regime with quite a bit of weight loss I was really unhappy with my sagging breasts and I was especially down about my tummy, after hours in the gym it was something I really hated and really affected my self confidence. I found Rob by accident on here, but after reading such great reviews i booked a consultaion. I went to my first consultation in September and I had my procedure of a tummy tuck and breast lift with implants in Nov 2024. It was sorted very quickly and with absolutely no pressure. Rob has a very straight forward approach and is honest about what he expects the results will be. I am now 12 weeks post op and I have bought so many bikinis and crop tops as I am finally proud of my body. My recovery has been fairly straight forward, however if you do have any question/concerns Rob and his team always answer in a timely manner, my questions concerns were very minor. The hospital and it's staff are really kind and food was good too. I felt quite relaxed before surgery and Rob's anaesthetist and staff were really lovely also. When you wake up a Nurse is talking to you, I felt warm and safe which was very reasurring. Altogether worth every penny!

The entire team is incredibly professional, kind, and welcoming, which made me feel completely comfortable and at ease.
