Based on your photographs, it not possible to make a definitive diagnosis but this does not appear consistent with rhinophyma.  I would recommend you see a dermatologist to evaluate your skin.  After this, if you desire nasal surgery, I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Based on the pictures, it appears that you have rosacea and VERY early rhinophyma.  At this early stage of the disease, I would recommend consulting with a dermatologist who is familiar with non-surgical treatment options.  If you get early treatment, you will likely never need surgical intervention.Best of luck!

It is definitely not rhinophyma but it could be rosacea, which is a precursor to rhinophyma. The good news is catching it this early does not require surgery to address it. Your best bet is to see a Dermatologist because they are the best equipped to treat someone with rosacea.

Thank you for your post.I find it very difficult to make disgnoses from photographs. Having said that though, if you think it is rhinophyma, then the most accurate way of getting a diagnosis is to have a biopsy sent off for pathological analysis. The other name for a rhinophyma is sebaceous hyperplasia.

Thank you for your question and photographs.The picture appears to be consistent with early rhinophyma and rosacea.At this point, a good dermatologist may be able to control the situation without surgery. So the dermatologist should be your next step.
