Dr. Most and his staff are highly professional, kind, and informative! The entire process from start to finish went smoothly including all the appointments before surgery, surgery exceptions and follows ups. There was clear communication throughout, recovery was easy, and everyone was very helpful. I’m beyond happy with the outcome, it’s natural and fits my face. Dr. Most’s surgical skills are excellent and I’m so thankful for the positive change this gave me. His work speaks for itself; I am very satisfied with the results and I was given exactly what I asked for. I am very grateful for that. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to have work done!
Consultation A year ago, I made the decision to undergo rhinoplasty. After careful selection of doctors and studying reviews, my choice fell on Dr. Sam Most. He turned out to be not only a professional but also a true artist, with a sense of aesthetics and the ability to create a harmonious image. During the consultation, I was shown an approximate result in Photoshop, we discussed my preferences, and I got an idea of what my future nose would look like. It was incredibly convenient and helped me understand the expected outcome. Overall, the doctor dedicated enough time to me, answered all my questions, and provided support at every stage. Pre-operation Before the operation and after, I was informed about the necessary actions and care, provided with detailed instructions on how to prepare, and how to take care of my nose after the surgery, which greatly facilitated the process. Post-operation Recovery after the operation was much easier than I expected. There were almost no bruises, the swelling quickly subsided, and I returned to normal life. My nose looks perfect, natural, as if it had always been that way. A straight bridge, symmetrical nostrils, minimal scar, you can only notice it under a microscope :) In general, this exceeded all my expectations. And now I feel confident and happy with my new look, it has greatly influenced my self-esteem and overall psychological state. Challenges to Expect The most difficult part was the inability to breathe through the nose. But literally after a week, the cast and special splints were removed, and then my nose finally breathed, but sometimes the swelling made itself felt and the nose periodically got stuffed up, which is also normal, don't worry. Within a month, this problem disappeared. (Advice: drink more water and moisturize your lips, then breathing through your mouth will be easier) If you are considering rhinoplasty, consider a few things: • It is normal to have swelling and bruising, they completely disappear within a few months. • Swelling may increase when consuming hot drinks and taking hot showers or baths. This is also normal. • The strongest swelling will be after removing the cast. Outcome I want to express my immense gratitude to the doctor and his team for their professionalism, care, and support throughout the entire process. I never felt abandoned because the doctor and his team were always in touch with me, ready to help and answer any questions. I entrusted myself to them and it paid off. I highly recommend their services to anyone considering rhinoplasty. 2 / 2
Dr Most and his team rebuilt my too large and twice broken nose to a balanced and perfectly proportioned nose for my face. It’s impossible to tell that I had surgery. I so grateful for him and his incredibly talented team. From the office staff, to the surgery center, to the anesthesiologist, and his assistant Dr Rossi-Meyer, they all took such good care of me. Dr Most is an especially gifted artist.
I’m 1 month post op and I can’t say enough of how life changing meeting Dr. Most was for me. I had lived with complicated case of a fractured nose — I couldn’t breathe through it for the majority of my life. I was nervous as I had never gone under for a major surgery like this, but Dr. Most and his staff were very personable and made me comfortable the entire time. In terms of results, I couldn’t have asked for anything better. My nose looks even better than it did pre-op, it’s actually symmetrical! Not only that, the quality of my sleep improved from 70% to 93% according to my sleep tracker. I can breathe so easy now. I had ended up getting a rib graft; pre-op Dr. Most had informed me before as a precaution and reassured me it was the best course of action. I had experienced no bruising on my face and swelling was noticeable but not egregious. The rib recovery wasn’t as bad as I thought, very tender and minimal range in the early days but I was able to stop using the pain medication fairly quickly. It can take awhile from pre-op visits to the actual surgery date considering how in demand he is. Once you’ve established yourself as his patient, definitely use the myHealth app as suggested by his staff. It is much easier to communicate that way instead of phone. All in all, I would highly recommend Dr. Most to everyone. A huge thank you to him and his staff.
I am grateful to have chosen Dr. Most for my second revision rhinoplasty. My nose was crooked as a result of being broken when I was younger, and I had an initial surgery to repair it which went badly and resulted in a collapsed nasal bridge. My second surgery worsened the collapse, and by the time I found Dr. Most I had resigned myself to living with a deformed nose and was just hoping for some improvement. It is now 5 months post second revision surgery and the results have surpassed my expectations. Not only is Dr. Most a skilled surgeon, reconstructing my nose entirely using a rib graft, he is also humble and compassionate. He patiently answered my many questions and was honest about what was realistically possible, given how fragile my nose was from 2 previous surgeries. I appreciated his honesty as I was able to make an informed choice and had realistic expectations. In short, I would recommend him unreservedly.
Dr Most is hands down the most brilliant plastic surgeon to walk this planet and we're so lucky to have him. He saved my nose that was in horrific shape after 3 rhinoplasties (performed by a different surgeon). It was riddled with dents, twisted, deviated, smushed in, devoid of a septum completely and completely obstructed from the inside out. After 3 aggressive surgeries performed by another surgeon who subsequently over-injected me with kenalog steroids, my nose made the broken noses you see on MMA fighters look good. I avoided social interactions and spent years in hiding, essentially. I felt like a monster and didn't recognize myself. After exhaustive research and interviewing surgeons, I was lucky enough to find Dr.Most (several surgeons I talked to who refused to take on my case actually recommended Dr. Most before I had heard of him). Well, going through with Dr. Most was absolutely the best decision I could've made. He not only fixed my issues completely, but also gave me a gorgeous nose. I was in tears after the cast removal because of how perfect and beautiful it was despite the inevitable (significant) swelling. I went into the surgery nervous as all hell, and praying for an outcome (maybe) half as good as what he gave me. I absolutely couldn't believe it. Each rhinoplasty gets exponentially more complex the more you have, and your margin for error becomes terrifyingly small. This was my fourth rhinoplasty, and Dr. Most gave me a gorgeous nose and I am still in shock at the outcome. Along with Dr. Most being a genius, he's also incredibly kind and compassionate, not at all pretentious, and realistic about what he can do. I'm forever grateful for this surgeon, and honestly don't think any other surgeon in the entire world could've done a better job on my incredibly tough case.
If I could give more stars to Dr. Most and his team I would. Everybody in that office is stellar. The whole experience from the first office visit, consultation, and including the surgery, is excellent. I had the surgery in September 2022. Dr. Most is a caring, professional, knowledgeable, scientific, patient, and down-to-earth surgeon. I broke my nose when I was nine years old and since then had a deviated septum. My breathing had gotten worse over years. In consultation with my primary doctor, I did extensive research regarding the surgery to find the best expert for it. He was the only doctor on the list that I would go to. Dr. Most is a professional and, for such a world-renowned surgeon, a very humble being. The surgery was rather long, it lasted for four hours. I did not have any problems waking up after it either. I did not feel any excruciating pain immediately after, nor in the days and weeks after the surgery. I was surprised by how painless it was. The swelling was minimal and it did not last longer than expected. Post-op care and concerns about the patients are great. Post-op experience: I forgot how it feels to take a deep breath and fill up my lungs with oxygen at full capacity. I can run without going breathless in a few minutes. I can breathe through my nose all the time, and do not gasp for air frequently. Moreover, my nose looks like the one I had as a nine-year-old. If you are looking for a professional, honest, caring, and knowledgeable doctor, see Dr. Most. Branka S.
I had rhinoplasty revision November 2020. It was my second surgery and at the height of Covid. I was very nervous, and never wanted to have another surgery. Dr. Most was clear, calm, and sure he could fix what I was not happy with. I am so grateful to Dr Most and all staff as they surpassed my expectations! From scheduling, billing, pre-op, OR, anesthesia, post-op, everyone was great! My nose pain was manageable. My rib incision site hurt more than the nose. I had to fight with Insurance but after 2 appeals it all worked out. 5 stars!
Dr. Most is easily the most kind, trustworthy, skilled doctor I’ve ever met. He is realistic about results, and his main goal is a healthy patient. I went in for revision rhinoplasty which can be incredibly difficult. He transformed my nose to look so natural. I feel so much more comfortable smiling in photos with my children. This is life giving. My surgery went smoothly, and though I am a worrier, I felt at complete ease with Dr. Most and his team. I feel lucky to have found him and recommend him whole heartedly.
Extremely happy with the results after a reconstructive nose surgery. I had a unique and hard case, with my nose being "saddle". Dr. Most didn't promise me too much and was very realistic and knowledgeable. He listened and let me ask as many questions as I needed without rushing. The whole experience pre/post surgery was smooth. It is now 6 months post surgery and I cannot be more happier. The nose is very beautiful and natural looking. I can finally look in the mirror and smile.
Sorry to hear about your situation. Your surgeon likely has your best interests at heart. Once open and contaminated with normal skin bacteria, it is best to let this heal and close on it's own and then perform scar revision later, if necessary.
One of the downsides of medical tourism is lack of follow-up. What you see could be due to excess skin, swelling, blood accumulation/scar, or residual banding, among others. A good examination and review of your operative record is in order, if you can get that. Find a local facial plastic surgeon who can examine you and help you determine what to do next, if anything is necessary.Good luck to you!
Looks like you might have residual plastysmal bands. I cannot give much advice here as I was not present at your consultations or surgery. However, you may want to seek a consultation with an experienced facial surgeon who might suggest a more aggressive approach (assuming this was not done) to address these issues.
I would suggest you see an experienced oculoplastic surgeon, given that you may need revision surgery on your upper and or lower lids.
Your neck looks like it was a challenging one, and your surgeon may have performed any of a number of procedures to correct the heaviness of your preoperative neck. These lumps/bumps may be part of the normal healing process or evidence of that some intervention needs to be undertaken. I suggest you bring up your concerns with your surgeon.
