What qualifies a candidate for lipo 360? Is there a weight range one should be in?

Thank you for your question, you need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heats the skin with radiofrequency devices such as Renuvion (J-Plasma), InMode BodyTite, and ThermiRF to heat the undersurface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HI-DEF VASER Liposuction and can only be done by a well-trained body contouring specialist. At the same time, fat should be harvested and purified, with PRP and stem cells added, and then injected into muscles, indentations and cellulite to get body shaping and contouring. The ideal liposuction candidate has localized fat deposits and quality overlying skin without significant excess skin or skin damage.  Fat can then be removed to strategically sculpt the body and accentuate feminine curves.  The skin then retracts over the new shape to give the final result.Patients considering cosmetic surgery should have a BMI of 30 or lower to maximize the results of the surgery and also to help minimize risks.That said, you definitely have to choose your surgeon correctly and make sure that he/she has the training and experience to meet your goals with absolute safety.  A key quality indicator is Board Certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.  Don’t settle for less than a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with specialized expertise in this procedure.

If you are in good health and have a BMI approximating 30, you would be a good candidate for lipo 360. Having the low BMI enhances results and reduces the risks of complications during and after surgery.Lipo is usually performed on one area of the body at a time. Lipo 360 is conducted 360 degrees around a specific body part such as the abdomen, back, and flanks. Patients who have excess fat deposits in these areas can benefit from this procedure. If you have skin laxity in the abdomen, a TT may also be required.

Although no one wants more surgeries than necessary, but to achieve the best results possible (youthful hourglass figure), one surgery cannot deliver the expected results. Who qualifies for liposuction 360 degrees? This depends on the surgeon's experience and technical ability in conjunction with a patient who is healthy and has no comorbidities.I personally prefer to do the whole body liposuction +/- fat grafting to shape the body first and do the tummy tuck later, if the patient's BMI is greater than 25. If the surgery is done in the reverse order, you will end up with more skin looseness afterwards which will necessitate further skin excision (operation #3).See a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. question. Ideal candidates for liposuction have a normal or close to
normal BMI,  they have stubborn areas of adiposity that
they can't get rid of despite adequate diet and exercise, and have a good skin
tone with no significant stretch marks. Ideally, you want to be within 10-15 pounds of your ideal body weight. It is important to keep in mind that
liposuction is not a weight loss surgery, and is more of a tool to re-shape the
body. After liposuction, you should continue to have a healthy life style with
balanced diet and exercise to maintain your body weight.  I would
seek consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon for a full evaluation

Generally speaking, if you have muscle separation and loose skin, then you might be better candidate for a tummy tuck. If you have extra fat tissue but no loose skin or muscle separation, BBL is probably the best option. It also depends on your goal. If you want bigger buttocks, BBL is best proedure. Tummy tuck will provide you with flat abdomen. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

You should not have significant excess skin to qualify for liposuction. In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 30 or less.
I recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.

Hello, Thank you for your question. Without photos it's sort of hard to answer, but I'll give you a general one. There are many factors we take into account when deciding that a patient can have liposuction alone or that in fact skin needs to be removed:1) Skin excess (if it is present, removing fat will accentuate this aspect more)2) Muscle separation (some patients end up having some muscle separation after pregnancy or after major weight loss) and this cannot be fixed through the minimal incisions used in a  liposuction. 3) Skin tone (sometimes a very thin and flaccid skin looks better when pulled)Another point that I take into account is asking the patient if she wants to have more children.
