From your photos, it looks like you a great candidate for rhinoplasty. A well performed rhinoplasty can reduce the overall size of your nose some and give a better defined tip. It all starts with a consult with an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon where you can undergo computer imaging to give you a better idea of what you make like...
I would recommend starting with a consultation with a board certified facial plastic surgeon that specializes in rhinoplasty surgery to discuss if rhinoplasty can address your concerns. I would recommend writing down the following questions before scheduling your consultation:1. Are you unhappy with the tip of your nose? 2. Do you feel that your nose is too wide? 3. Do you want to make your nostrils smaller in appearance? 4. Are you looking to decrease the general size of your nose?I hope some of these questions will help you pinpoint what it is that you don't like about your nose. Cost will vary due to various factors like anesthesia fees, facilities fees, etc. I wish you the best as you research your options when scheduling a rhinoplasty consultation.Sincerely,Philip J. hello thank you for your question and provided information as well.. based in your question its difficult evaluate you with this angle of a picture, my recommendation is get a consultation in person with a plastic surgeon to discuss all about theme.
It would be very difficult to advise you accurately based on the pictures that you have posted. In order to offer you an meaningful advise it would be important to have a profile, head tilted back and straight head front views. You can post these or even e-mail them to me to let you what needs to be done.
Hello! Thank you for your question and pictures. Taking everything into account I think that you have a beautiful nose that only needs refinement of your tip along with one of the most used popular surgical techniques for Alar base reduction, which is the Weirs technique (It's when you make internal cuts and tuck in your nostrils). A closed rhinoplasty procedure is the best option for someone who is looking for a refinement of the nose. I recommend going to a Plastic Surgeon that specializes in closed scarless rhinoplasty (preferred by actresses and celebrities) because there is no risk of external scarring and much less healing and recovery time. Closed rhinoplasty enables you to have flash recovery with very minimal bruising if at all. You will only have to wear a cast for 5-7 days, no one will know you had anything done. All the incisions are made from inside the nose. The goal is to finesse and enhance the nose without drastic change. It still looks like it is your nose just more refined without looking fake. Meaningful refinement is the key! All the same surgical maneuvers your nose requires can be performed with a skilled closed scarless surgeon. You would be a good candidate for a tip defining structural rhinoplasty. However, the more important question concerns locating the best surgeon for you. First you must decide what about your nose is of concern and if you really want to correct it. The next step is to consult with an experienced expert in rhinoplasty who will exam you and discuss you concerns and your options. Feel free to get second or third opinions if necessary.
Hello and thank you for your question. Based on yourphotographs, your nasal tip is wide with a wide alar base and thick nasal tip skin. You may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty and an alar base reduction. When good technique is used, this can have a very natural appearing result with thinning and refinement of your nose. Makesure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patientswho have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computeranimation system. You should be able toview numerous pictures of actual patients with noses similar to yours performedby your surgeon. Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Reish, M.D. FACSHarvard-trained plastic surgeon
Your nose could be improved with rhinoplasty, which would give permanent improvements in symmetry and shape. You can bring the pictures that you think would be flattering to your face and these can be discussed. It takes special interest and study to understand the facial aesthetics to create a nose that is harmonious with your other features. Take the time to find the right facial plastic surgeon and ask them to create digital images of the nose they propose for you and discuss the cost.Hope this helps.
Thank you for your question. A side profile view would give important information as to which technique would be beneficial for you. A thorough physical examination would also determine whether the support structures of your nose are weak. I suspect you have a weak septal cartilage causing poor projection of the tip. This can also result in widening of the nostrils. Your tip likely needs to be further projected to increase tip definition. This will narrow the nostrils simultaneously. Your modest dorsal hump can be reduced at the same time. An in-office consultation with a board certified surgeon can help determine which approach is right you. Good luck.
I think you are a great candidate for a closed scarless rhinoplasty. All the incisions are inside of the nose. Reducing the nasal bump and performing osteotomies that narrow the nasal bones will soften the appearance of your nose. To sharpen and contour the nasal tip cartilage will be harvested from your septum and carefully sculpted to create a graft that will sharpen your nasal tip and give it better support. Seek out a surgeon that is skilled in both septoplasty and rhinoplasty. Many facial plastic surgeons have extensive experience with this technique. Good luck!
It can be possible for someone with your nose to achieve a more narrow and defined nasal tip. It's best to consult with a surgeon to discuss what is possible. Computer imaging can help visualize the changes that can be offered with surgery. Aloha,Shim Ching, MD
Gastric sleeve surgery can have a long recovery. You need to wait till your Bariatric surgeon clears you. It is less to do with the anesthesia itself and more to do with how fast you recover from gastric sleeve. RegardsDr. J
This is seems like a more serious, structural problem. It looks more like a collapse than unevenness of nostrils. This isnt something that can be caused by swelling. Also not likely caused by a tape. You should be able to contact your surgeon when you need to and have your issues addressed....
