Can button noses achieve a Megan Fox type rhinoplasty? (Photos)

hello thank you for your question and provided information as well.. based in your question and the picture you showed you are a good candidate for rhinoplasty with technique open with refined the tip. and elevate the tip.

It can be possible for someone with your nose to achieve a more narrow and defined nasal tip.  It's best to consult with a surgeon to discuss what is possible.  Computer imaging can help visualize the changes that can be offered with surgery.  Aloha,Shim Ching, MD

I would recommend starting with a consultation with a board certified facial plastic surgeon that specializes in rhinoplasty surgery to discuss if rhinoplasty can address your concerns. 
I would recommend writing down the following questions before scheduling your consultation:
1. Are you unhappy with the tip of your nose? 
2. Do you feel that your nose is too wide? 
3. Do you want to make your nostrils smaller in appearance? 
4. Are you looking to decrease the general size of your nose?
I hope some of these questions will help you pinpoint what it is that you don't like about your nose.  Cost will vary due to various factors like anesthesia fees, facilities fees, etc. I wish you the best as you research your options when scheduling a rhinoplasty consultation.

Thank you for your question!Based on the pictures you have submitted It does appear that your tip can be refined to compliment your face. Pictures are helpful if you have an idea of what you want, but keep in mind that everyone's anatomy is different! The best way to get exactly what you want from your surgeon is to be very honest in your consultation. Make sure that you mention what you don't want. In my practice and many others as well we also will use a software to help us show the patients what we envision! This way there is no communication issues on what exactly you want! Remember that finding a surgeon who is going to listen to your wants and needs could be difficult so go to many consultations to see who you feel most comfortable with.

Thank you for your photos and your goal to achieve results like Megan Fox.  Your nose certainly has potential to shift toward your ideal contour, but know that your personal tissues may limit how far a surgeon can bring a nose like Megan Fox's into your result.  Skin thickness is one of the challenges to obtain sharp detail in contouring rhinoplasty results.  Seek consultation with experienced rhinoplasty surgeons to understand all options and limitations before committing to any procedure.

While Celebrity photos and Computer Imaging can sometimes be helpful starting points, it is your own anatomy and your Surgeon that determines your possible results. It does appear that your tip can be thinned and 'refined' to fit your face; but not necessarily Megan's. Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your
photographs, your nasal tip does appear wide and bulbous with thick skin.  Nasal tip refinement can
be accomplished in your nose by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your
lower nose.  You may also benefit from soft tissue debulking in your tip to help thin your nasal skin. This can result in a nose more similar to your goal pictures.  Make
sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients
who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computer
animation system.  You should be able to
view numerous pictures of actual patients with noses similar to yours performed
by your surgeon.

Thank you for your question. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to determine your candidacy for rhinoplasty. Please keep in mind that an attractive nose is both symmetrical and proportionate to your face. The nose that looks good on this celebrity may not be right for you.

A full set of facial photographs from all angles are required to make a determination about how best to proceed with the rhinoplasty procedure. Important have very specific goals in mind what you're trying to accomplish with your nose, since it's impossible to give a celebrity type nose. Digital computer imaging of your nose upon your facial features would be helpful to understand what can cannot be accomplished with your anatomy which includes skin, bone, and cartilage.

Hi,Your nasal tip cartilages appear a little round and wide and they can be trimmed and reshaped to give you a slim defines tip. The projection of the nose (how far out from the face it is) can also be increased surgically. I recommend visiting with a rhinoplasty expert to discuss your aesthetic goals in detail and to review important details of surgery.Best,
