I recently underwent rhinoplasty with Dr. Dugar and have been impressed throughout the process from consultation, to the surgery itself, to aftercare. Dr. Dugar is a master at what he does, he delivers outstanding results and clearly cares deeply about his craft and his patients. His staff are great too. Valerie was very helpful in guiding me through the pre-surgical process, Mari and the nursing staff checked in with me every day the week after the operation and were quick to answer any questions I had. If you’re considering rhinoplasty I highly recommend Dr. Dugar.
If I can give Dr. Dugar millions star I will give!! My name is Anastasia, I am originally from Belarus and I had a bulbous nose. Living in Los Angeles where is city so many plastic surgeon I always was wondering which is the doctor is the best one for me and who I should go and do my nose? All those questions and confusion fallow me for many years. And trust me I got consultation from many famous nose doctors in the town. Finally, I decided to meet Dr. Dugar and from first consultation with Dr. Dugar I decided he will be my doctor BUT my family and my friends was against it because they was believed to fix my nose will be not possible with out cuts ( open rhinoplasty), and I knew Dr. Dugar will do everything what I want to fix my nose with out any out cuts ( close rhinoplasty ). And I was right, he did! The staff is amazing!!! Everyone nice, friendly and extremely caring. In my surgery day I was not nervous I knew I am in great hands that what everyone should feel. The nurses take care of you like little baby just before you went sleep. The warm blankets on operation table and massage boots make me feel very comfortable. Recovery was so easy, painless, never took any pain medication any kind pill except antibiotics. I just fallowed all my post recovery instructions and healing was smooth every day. I didn’t even have a bruises at all. But my advise for every one who want to do rhinoplasty, please eat a lot of pineapple before and after surgery it’s will really help with swollen and healing, no Coffee for 2 weeks before surgery and after! On Day 7th I was so excited to take a cast and see my nose. And I was very happy with the results I know my nose still swollen and everyday pass by I see changes which I love. I am so happy I fallowed my God feelings and gave my nose to hands Dr. Dugar. And I can give you my advise if you can fix your nose without any scars you should go ahead and do it with Dr. Dugar you will never regret with your decision. Now it’s 6 weeks after rhinoplasty's and my nose better than ever and improving with every week. Dr. Dugar very talented and I am very grateful he fix my nose with out any outside scars and I have my nose so perfect shape and so natural! God bless Dr. Dugar and his magic hands!
I got my nose done a week ago and it looks amazing! Dr. Dugar did a fantastic job. I had no idea that it was even possible for surgery to improve my nose so much. I had almost no bruising and no pain, and the whole experience was easy and absolutely worth it. My entire face looks better now and I feel so happy with the results; Dr. Dugar's work exceeded my expectations in every way possible! Btw, I have been told by my mom's friend that it is the best nose job she's ever seen :)
I am beyond happy with my experience with Dr. Dugar and his team! He is so passionate and knowledgeable which made me feel in very good hands. I had been searching for a long time for the right fit for me and I felt very confident with Dr. Dugar. His team made me feel so at ease throughout the entire process which is something I needed for my anxiety levels. Everything went great and I am beyond happy with my 6 weeks post op results. I got a Septorhinoplasty and it was the best thing I ever did! He made my nose look so good and fixed my breathing. I am beyond happy and more confident than ever! Huge thanks to Dr. Dugar and his awesome team!
Dr. Dugar is an artist and truly a master of his craft. I just got my cast removed a couple of days ago, and I am so beyond happy. My nose looks so natural, refined, and as if I was born with it. I am finding myself just admiringly staring at myself in the mirror - relieved and grateful. I did not think that I would ever actually go through with a nose job because I did not want my nose to look like the scooped out, typical nose that many surgeons give patients. I extensively researched before coming across Dr. Dugar's work. After meeting with him, I felt like he understood exactly what I was aiming for. We had a few consults where he gave me his honest guidance and answered my many questions. I wanted to preserve the Sicilian strength of my nose and keep its character while removing the bump and the droopiness of my tip when smiling. I wanted to like profile photos of myself and to not feel like my eyes were consistently drawn to my downturned nose. He delivered and gave me an even better result than what was anticipated in the concept images. My family and friends are so impressed and keep telling me how beautiful my upgraded nose is. My mom is a particular artist and is elated with the result. My fiance is relieved that I do not look like a different person and loves seeing me so happy. His team is also phenomenal... attentive, thoughtful, and supportive throughout the whole process. All of my questions were kindly answered, and I was consistently checked in on before and after surgery. I'll admit that I was extremely nervous throughout the process (this was my first plastic surgery procedure) and wish I could have been more at ease - especially knowing how beautiful it turned out. I cannot wait to take upcoming wedding photos and to enjoy this change for years to come.
I'm officially 2 weeks post-op from my closed rhinoplasty -- and I remember digging through reviews sooo thoroughly before picking a surgeon, and going through with the surgery, so now it's my turn to give mine :) Dr. Dugar is exactly what others have said. He's a super nice doctor, isn't pushy or aggressive - and will answer as many questions as you have without making you feel like a bother. His team is also next level and so kind, they made the booking process super easy, and checked in on me every day post-op via call and text. During my consult I was a little bit worried because Dr. Dugar doesn't give you morphs to take with you like other docs, but honestly that makes total sense -- you're a 3D real life person, and an image doesn't really do it justice. He showed me another case that was similar to mine to show me what I might expect. Honestly, his conservative approach is what ultimately made me choose him because my biggest fear was ending up with a botched nose job, and that's just not a thing with him. I did have filler in my nose 2 years prior which was actually still very present -- so I had to get that dissolved elsewhere 1 week before surgery. As for the surgery process -- here's my experience: 3 weeks before surgery I quit any alcohol, advil, etc...they give you a list of things to avoid. 1 day before surgery the anesthesiologist gave me a call to check in and see if i had any questions...super nice man. Then the day of surgery, my surgery was at 10am so I did all the pre-op paperwork, changed into hospital clothing, and started icing my face. Finally, they took me in for surgery, started talking to me, and then all of a sudden I was out in the recovery room. When I woke up there was really no pain, just some pressure. Now for the recovery: I truly had NO pain. I took nothing more than 1-2 tylenols daily. The most frustrating part though was sleeping on day 1 because I had packing in my nose and could not breathe at all. I even took an Ambien and that didn't really help because my throat was sooo sore. I went back the next day though and they took out the packing which made everything sooo much easier. Mind you, I'm a stomach sleeper so sleeping on my back is already one feat. I was bleeding a bit the first 3 days, but after that it pretty much stopped. I was a bit swollen and bruised, but nothing darker than a very light purple. You're also not allowed to exercise much which was/is the most difficult thing for me. I started going on short walks on day 2 because my legs were getting so sore from sitting. However, you do notice more swelling and pressure in your nose when you walk or do movement. By week 2 (now), I'm doing long walks again and feel relatively normal. A week later, I got my cast off. I was so nervous because I had no idea what to expect, but when the cast came off I was SO HAPPY! I looked the same as before but my nose was just so much cuter overall, smaller, straighter, etc. There was obviously still a lot of swelling but I was so happy to see how much it matched my face. After the cast came off, within 24h my nose swelled up a lot more. I'm now 1 week from the cast removal and my nose is very swollen...much more than day 1 of the cast removal, but I do have thick skin so I know it's going to take a while to settle. Each morning and evening look different and I can expect this to happen for at least a few more months. Overall, I'm super happy with my initial results but holding off on my final opinion until I'm a bit further along in my healing! I'll post my updates along the way. Dr. Dugar has a fantastic conservative approach if that's what you're looking for (no Turkey nose jobs here lol) and doesn't have an ego like some fo the other surgeons in LA I've met!
I can only review on my consultation experience and in the end I decided to book my surgery in Europe ( just purely because of location for myself and my family) but I had a very positive experience , Dr Dugar was very warm, caring and empathetic and even though he does rhinoplasties on celebrities he still came across very modest and there was no air of snobbery about him at all. Plus he is literally only one of the consults I've had that have actually been on time! He took his time and had a very cheery and upbeat attitude ( you can definitely tell her loves what he does) and his results are simply beautiful! As I said in the end the only reason was simply due to travelling but I can guarantee that I would have gotten beautiful and natural results with this doctor!
I can’t say enough about Dr. Dugar and his entire team, so I’m cross-posting this review! I spent nearly half my life debating whether to get rhinoplasty. My nose made me very unhappy, but I also have quite a lot of anxiety and felt afraid. I consulted with many surgeons and did a lot of research, and speaking to Dr. Dugar reminded me of the importance of going with your gut. He’s a unicorn in the field of cosmetic surgery: a visible personality who’s also extremely straightforward. He’s not trying to make a sale—he’ll work with you on a specific game plan, likely point out what’s already great about your face, and encourage you to really think about this decision. (And it’s not a trick...This doctor truly cares about the mental health of his patients! I'm hyper-perceptive to a fault, and even I could feel that his respect is genuine.) Dr. Dugar is very skilled and has the hands of an artist when it comes to natural-looking work, but he also has an incredible philosophy and aesthetic, two things I’d like to think come naturally to him and ultimately guide the outcome. I was very scared to undergo surgery, but Dr. Dugar’s bedside manner made me feel safe—plus his entire staff, including anesthesiologist Dr. Roy and every nurse and assistant I communicated with, is so caring. They soothed my jitters before and after, and they check in on patients during their entire recovery. I’m almost two weeks post-op from a septorhinoplasty and can’t believe how much fear I initially felt. (He takes care to leave you with better breathing after surgery, if possible!) The meticulous pre-op and post-op regimens let you know that Dr. Dugar treats his work with TLC. If you’re looking for a natural/subtle change to your nose that highlights your features, a doctor with both artistry & skill, honesty & care throughout the process, and support from a wonderful staff, you’re in good hands with Dr. Dugar.
Going to be sharing my journey here! I have been wanting rhinoplasty since I was 13, and was struggling to find a doctor that I felt comfortable in my area (Seattle). All of the doctors up here either had scary reviews, or didn't practice lots of Rhinoplasty. So I came to the conclusion that maybe I should look outside of my state, and that's how I found Dr. Dugar! Consultation went smoothly online. We discussed what I would like done on my nose, and he made it very clear on what safe and possible, as well as what I can expect in terms of results. My surgery was yesterday! And WOW I am actually shocked how there’s absolutely no pain. I feel some head pressure, stuffyness, and a some runny nose from the bleeding, but ZERO pain at all. I woke up from the anesthesia and quickly started feeling alert and pretty darn fine! The doctor himself and the staff are so kind in-person. Dr Dugar really makes sure you understand possible outcomes, and the things he can and can not do, as people wanting massive change might be better off with a open-rhinoplasty, while also staying safe. He talked to me after surgery and told me he believes we were able to achieve the things I wanted! I had my tip refined because it was bulbous, wide nasal bones narrowed, depressor septi muscle cut (so that my tip doesn’t point down when smiling), and he also shaved the bumps I had on my bridge. The humps were the ones he wasn’t sure we could do unless I wanted open-rhino, but it sounds like it ended up working out once he got in there LOL. He showed me a patient similar to mine to help me understand expectations as a thick-skinned patient. She had a bulbous nose and 7 days at cast removal, her nose still looked bulbous because of the swelling. But you could see the immediate changes from the narrowing and shaving of her nose bridge. Next to the 7 day post op. He showed me her 3 year post of photo and OMG it looked SO much better, smaller, and with definition! It’s SO crazy how much it will take shape over the next few years and I’m very glad he showed me! Last thing I can think to mention… I have anxiety. And the moment I got in there I wasn’t scared and felt so calm. Everyone there has great bedside manner and I almost reminded me of being comforted as a baby haha. The only time my brain finally went “oh dang” a little is when I walked into the operating room and saw my operating bed.. but the anesthesiologist acknowledged me quickly, reassured me, and answered my questions. And then I was quickly asleep! Didn’t even notice when it started happening. While I won’t be able to see my nose for a few days, and I won’t see my final results for many months, I’ll try to come back to keep you guys updated. I feel VERY good about the surgeon I picked, and healing so far is going so smoothly! Only minor swelling an bruising, and I can already breathe through my nostrils! Updated on 22 Jun 2021: Hi! I got my cast off yesterday and I LOVE IT!!! I immediately saw all of my areas of concerns addressed beautifully. It looks completely natural and still fit my face. I couldn’t help but get emotional! I can’t find a better word to describe this feeling other than it feels like “freedom”! I used to instinctively cover my nose when I laughed, and was always worried that the first thing people think when talking to me was “nose”. But this looks so much smoother and less prominent. It still matches my ethnicity and overall facial harmony. Even the selfies I took, it looks great at all angles. I used to only take photos from “good” angles. I also don’t have dread photos that people take of me any more. My nose was affecting my confidence for a long time.. and it took me years to find the doctor that I felt great about. I felt great about Dr Dugar right away and I’m so glad he was my surgeon. He really is a master of scarless rhinoplasty. I can’t believe he made my nose this natural and nice with the closed method. It was so worth the travel. It was intimidating to travel out of state for this surgery, but the staff made everything so easy and comfortable. It was also nice that they called me every day to check how I was doing. Other than occasional mild stinging at the incision site, there was never any pain. I was also already breathing through my nose the same day as I got my surgery. They say there’s no pain, but when you actually get to experience it, it really was surprising how normal i felt. I posted some photos of my nose before, and after cast off. Keep in mind the after photo is only one week post-op! So there’s still some swelling and bruising, and over the next year it’s going to continue to look better and better! I just cropped the photos to the nose to protect my privacy, but I hope this helps! Let me know if you guys have any questions. I can’t praise him enough! He really changed my life.. thank you so much Dr Dugar. Updated on 23 Aug 2021: Closed Rhinoplasty. 9 weeks post op from Deepak Dugar in Beverly Hills! So healing is going well. There are definitely ups and downs with the healing process. I was freaking out about the swelling that randomly came up from weeks 5-8, but the past few days it’s improved a lot! I love it! I love that the bumps in the bridge are smoother, nasal bones are more narrow, tip is less wide and fat, and my nose tip looks more lifted. People wonder if his results will be too subtle for them, but in my opinion the difference is substantial while looking very natural. I’m very happy. Updated on 1 Jan 2022: Just a new update! I am almost 7 months post op. Around into month 6 is when I really started seeing the swelling go down. It gets better and better every week. Every issue I had with my nose has been fixed. The tip has a nice shape, not as bulky as before. My tip actually stays lifted when I smile too! I hated how my nose dropped when I smiled. The narrowing of the nasal bones also just makes my nose overall take up less space. Smoother bridge too. Super happy. I will do one more update at 1 year, and another one at 1.5 years. I can’t wait to see how much more it’s going to improve because it’s already looking great!
I am interested in a scarless (closed) nose job. I came across Dr. Dugar while researching doctors on the internet. His website convinced me that he might be a good fit to perform my surgery so I set up a virtual appointment (200) . Before the appointment begin, I received an email stating the doctor was running behind, which I appreciated and the new time to expect the consultation to begin. This was my first consult and I basically let the doctor do all the talking and questions . At the end of the consult I was ready for the surgery, but I continued to do research not about doctors but of patients and their recovery and changes physically and mentally as a result of the this type surgery. I set up an additional consult this time I wrote all my questions and concerns down(I won’t go into detail but there were many) I appreciate his honesty and we both agreed he may not be the best choice for the results that I hope to attain.
Hi! Thank you for your question and photographs. The best option for you is to find a board certified facial plastic surgeon that dedicates his/her entire practice to Scarless Nose Rhinoplasty's. With a closed rhinoplasty you can achieve any look that you desire without the risk of a scar at the bottom of your nose. I recommend going to a Plastic Surgeon that specializes in Closed Scarless Rhinoplasty (preferred by actresses and celebrities) because there is no risk of external scarring and much less healing and recovery time. Closed rhinoplasty enables you to have flash recovery with very minimal bruising if at all. You will only have to wear a cast for 5-7 days, no one will know you had anything done. All the incisions are made from inside the nose. The goal is to finesse and enhance the nose without drastic change. It still looks like it is your nose just more refined without looking fake. Meaningful refinement is the key! All the same surgical maneuvers your nose requires can be performed with a skilled Closed Scarless surgeon. Best of luck, Dr. Deepak Dugar Beverly Hills Rhinoplasty Center
