My right breast seems to have a sloshing sound when I massage it. Is this normal? Should I be alarmed?

This Is perfectly normal and will disappear in the next few weeks. It is from air and fluid (irrigation, local anesthetic, serum, etc) in the pocket which will be naturally absorbed over time

This is quite normal and should resolve within a couple of weeks. If everything else seems ok I would not worry.

I would not be concerned. But I was Brookley #plastic surgery what that sound like be.  Only an examination and the operating surgeon can tell you exactly what that may represent.

It is still very early after your BA so some air and fluid in the pocket will still be present and cause these symptoms.  It is too early for massage so I would recommend no manipulation of your breasts for 2 weeks until a capsule has formed.  I see no reason for concern at this time. 

Hi There and thanks for coming to this community to seek answers.  You are just 4 days post-op so there is most likely fluid accumulation around your breast implant and soon your body will absorb any excess fluid.  As well, there can be an air pocket. where the implant sits.  There should be no alarm, however, once you see your plastic surgeon, please let him know what you are experiencing to put your mind at ease.  Best wishes to you!

4 days after surgery it's not unusual to have some fluid in the breast area.  Your body will take some time to absorb this fluid.  Be patient

At only 4 days out there is probably a little fluid and maybe a little air in the pocket of the implant. These will make the noise. Both are usually absorbed in a few days. Show your surgeon at your visit.

The sloshing cannot be from your implants as they are silicone.  It is likely due to fluid around the implant.  The fluid should go away with time.  You can wait until Wednesday and discuss with your surgeon.

What you are describing is quite commonly described after breast surgery.  The sensation of air trapped in the tissues is also commonly described. However, any significant increase in swelling/size would be of concern. Best wishes.

Sloshing is normal after breast augmentation surgery. There is a small amount of fluid in the pocket from the surgery, and because surgery is performed in room air and not a vacuum, there is also a small amount of air. It takes several days for thet air to be absorbed, after which the sloshing will be gone. You have sloshing in your stomach when you jump up and down after drinking something because the stomach can contain swallowed air, but you won't have sloshing in your blood stream because there is never any air.
