Steam rooms, saunas, jacuzzi's, hot baths will not affect your implants wheather they are saline or silicone gel. Your core body temperature (where the implants are) will remain within a few degrees of normal regardless of the outside temperature. Silicone by the way can withstands large degrees of heat without degradation or breakdown. #breastaugmentation#breastimplants
A sauna should be fine. The implants are quite durable and should not be affected. To make sure, please ask your surgeon for his or her advice as well.
Infrared light can penetrate skin and soft tissue up to 4cm, which means that it can affect silicone gel implants. The cohesive gel implants are cured in the factory at extremely high temperatures, so it seems unlikely that limited exposure would result in any damage. However, no studies have been done to investigate this so it is impossible to be sure. So - if you go into an infrared sauna a few times it is unlikely to do any damage. However, if you go in regularly over a long duration it may become an issue.
If it is a traditional sauna and you have healed, I do n to see a problem of using a sauna. It is always a good idea to run it by your surgeon.
Thank you for your question. I get asked this many times by my patients. Traditional saunas are fine to use. Infrared saunas generate deep tissue heat and may denature the silicone in your implants and release toxic chemicals or weaken the shell of the implants.
Thank you very much for your question. As long as your surgeon has cleared you to return to all normal activities, saunas are safe to enjoy with all types of implants. Silicone is much more heat resistant that you are!:) Think about all the cool kitchen gadgets like mitts, cupcake molds etc. that we us in the oven! Hope this helps! All the best!
Traditional saunas are fine. However I would avoid Infrared saunas-IR penetrates deep and could cause problems

Your questions is very valid. There is a slight difference between how the implants look and feel for the same volume. In general, the saline implants have a slightly larger look to them for the same volume. They tend to have a bit more projection and less conforming to you body than...
