How to achieve natural looking DD implants look? (Photo)

Question

Im naturally a A cup and im very volumptious and curvy with really small breast. My question is how can I achieve natural looking implants? I would like a semi sag tear drop look. I have two pictures attached, the first picture is a women who resembles my chest. The second is the look I wanna achieve. Im sure there's a way to get the look.

It would be very difficult to achieve your desired look if you're currently an "A-cup."  If your chest appears like the "before" photo that you posted, your skin would have to stretch quite a bit to obtain the more ptotic look that you're looking for.  That will take time for the skin to stretch that much.  I recommend seeing a plastic surgeon for consultation who may be able to show you what you would look like with a breast augmentation.

I am able to see the pictures and that is really helpful.  It would take several successive breast enlargements to stretch your skin to that degree of droop.  I would think long and hard before you attempt to go down that road.  I believe an augmentation with implants that are appropriate for your breast dimensions is in your best interest.Best wishes!

Hello,It is always difficult to know what someone means when they ask for a natural result. It's a very subjective term; it's an opinion.  Having said that, there are limitations to breast augmentation surgery, and the ability to augment a small breast and make it very large without it looking fake is not possible. The greater the proportion of implant volume that contributes to your total breast volume, the less likely the breast looks natural. Although implant profile and placement (above or below muscle) has an effect, implant volume relative to breast tissue volume has the greatest effect.Best of luck!

Goaldigger123,I unfortunately do not see the photos you are mentioning. Its very rare for an A cup framed person to achieve an natural look with DD implants. I would have to examine you of course to make this determination but I have yet to see someone who can pull this off without an implant shaped breast.Also keep in mind that anything over a C size will likely sag in the near future which is ok as long as you are aware you will need frequent maintenance surgeries.I hope this was helpful,Dr. Daniel BarrettPlastic and Reconstructive SurgeryBeverly Hills, CA

Ms. 123, The trend with breast surgery in the United States is starting to change as far as desired volume, away from a more artificial appearance, towards a more natural, yet full and sexy appearance. For a woman who wants superior fullness without that overtly "fake" look, an anatomic or shaped implant is likely the best option for you to reach your expressed desired results. All FDA implant companies have their own version of these implants, with varying degrees of firmness, sizes, and shapes, thus offering patients more options than they originally had. Surgeon selection is critically important when using these implants, as many plastic surgeons have little to minimal experience using these implants. At our practice, we have been using them for some time now, and achieve excellent results, that are both sexy but still elegant. This is what I would recommend for you, and I believe it is the best option based on your surgical and aesthetic expectations. Best of luck! the looks of your picture, you are a petite lady with small petite
breasts.  In the picture that you show for
the look you want to achieve, the woman has very large voluminous breasts with
a good deal of breast tissue.  Honestly,
I do not think that you will ever be able to achieve a look similar to hers due
to the fact that you do not have as much natural breast tissue as she does.  A breast augmentation will provide you with
more volume and round breasts; however, the amount of ptosis or hang which
makes them look natural will be lacking because your natural breast tissue is
not as abundant as the woman in the picture. 
I recommend having a breast augmentation and having silicone implants
placed in a submuscular location.

Thank you for your question. According to the first photo, the breast have very little breast tissue. Special measurements need to taken to see what size implant will be ideal for your breasts. If you want to achieve the results as you posted, you would probably have to do several surgeries to achieve this result. The skin would need to stretch gradually to reach this type of result. The woman in the second photo has much more breast tissue & skin. I feel that one surgery would not achieve the result you are looking for.

To get to a DD, and keep it as "natural" as possible, would require staged surgeries.  Your skin is not likely to be loose enough to accommodate placing large implants without looking tight and fake.  Also, forcing large implants in can lead to other problems, such as a inward distortion of your ribcage.  If you really want breasts that look somewhat similar to the second photo, you will have to do it starting with smaller implants and staging one or more future surgeries.  Obviously, this means significant cost and time.
