I've always had a narrow face, but recently feel like my face has started to look sunken and tired (I lost a bit of weight and also my skin has started to age as I'm in early 30's). I also have developed darker circles under my eyes and smile lines. I'd like to know what you recommend to refresh my look.
Answer: Facial evaluation Hello and thank you for your question. The best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. Based on your photographs, you may benefit from fillers in your malar region and nasolabial folds. You could also have fillers under your eyes. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. Harvard-trained plastic surgeon

Answer: Dark circles under eyes and smile lines. Some combination of filler is going to be best here. It has to be done carefully especially in the orbital area. A fat transfer may work best as you can treat all these areas. But if you don't want surgery you can have fillers done. Two types are needed in most cases for your situation.

Answer: Volume Deficiency I would echo previous posts in that your major issue is volume deficiency, especially in your midface. Fillers are an excellent option for volume rejuvenation. They can be safely and effectively used for all of the areas you are concerned with (cheeks, infraorbital hollows, nasolabial folds, etc). Fillers can differ in their viscosity and longevity. Speaking with an experienced surgeon will allow you to figure out which filler is best for you. For a longer lasting, more permanent solution, you could consider fat transfer as well. Good luck.

Answer: Facial rejuvenation Thanks for your question. There are are variety of options when it comes to restoring lost volume to the face. These include fillers, either temporary or permanent, facial implants and fat grafting. They can create volume, symmetry, and balance your facial features. To address your concerns I would recommend having an in person consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in facial aesthetics and contouring.

Answer: Hollow under eyes Some HA filler would be helpful for the hollow under eye. For the thin face should consider some fillers or fat.
