Swelling again under eyes after fat transfer 1 month out?

I am 1 month out of fat transfer to my face, all was well until 3 days ago my face under my eyes are now swelling again, is this normal? Is there something I can do about the swelling?

Yes, swelling is typical after fat transfer and can last 3-6 months. I recommend prp to help improve final results. Icing the area, predisone, ibuoprofen and venus legacy treatments can help reduce swelling. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Need photos to better help you. Swelling can generally fluctuate after such procedure for 3 months but the "swelling" could also be due to other factors. Discuss with your surgeon. Skype consultation available.

This is certainly a possibility and may not be abnormal. As fat grafts begin to stabilize in their new location, there may be periods of cell death triggering localized swelling. I would suggest using anti-inflammatories like Bromelain/Arnica, Motrin, and warm compress. You may also massage these areas to help alleviate the swelling. Please contact your surgeon to been seen in the office and get his/her opinion.
