How long does the fat transfer into lips tend to last?

But only 60-70% of injected fat will take, hence one or more  sittings may be required to achieve the desired results. Consult a board certified plastic surgeon.

Fat transfer is permanent. Fat transfer technique is important for successful fat transfer. I recommend water-assisted fat harvesting which gives pure fat to transfer and combine with platelet rich plasma (PRP) to get the most viable and sustainable fat cells. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Fat injection in the face/lips is permanent when it "takes" .  The issue is that not all of it takes 100%.  Therefore,  multiple procedures is often required to get the final result.
