Compression garments, if they don't fit correctly, can cause dents. I recommend following up with your Doctor about your compression garment. I recommend double compression with foam under to protect the skin. For liposuction after care, I recommend your compression and adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Thank you for your question. You are very early in healing phase. Swelling will continue to improve in the coming few weeks. Please follow instructions from your PS and express your concerns.

The lumpiness, swelling, itching and hardness after a surgery like you had typically persists at least 8 weeks after the surgery then slowly goes away. In my experience, daily massage of the hard areas makes the biggest difference in getting rid of it sooner rather than later. Staying away from salt will make a big difference in swelling. It can easily take 6 months or more to see results. Be sure to keep any scheduled follow up appointments you have with your surgeons for his evaluation and advice. Hope this helps.

You are way too early to worry about what your final contour will be.  Follow directions and wear your garments. Seek the advice of your doctor.   If there are dents at 6 months plan for a revision at 12 possibly.   Thene again it may self correct.

Dents or any other types of skin asymmetries are fairly common after liposuction.  However, most resolve on their own after several weeks or months as the patient moves forward to her recovery.

It is important to note that factors that result in the appearance of temporary dents include swelling from seroma or excess fluids and internal scarring.  Hence, using compression garments and keeping swelling to a minimum through superb diet and lymphatic drainage massage (and other modalities) could promote better results.

Should the dents remain persistent for more than a year, they might be caused by over- or under-correction during surgery, which can be improved by some type of liposuction revision.

Well, it appears as though the foam is being placed just above your pelvis, and not allowing enough protection against compression over the part of the pelvis that "wings" outward. Try lowering the foam padding over "wing" of the pelvis by just a couple of inches. That should help prevent denting. The dent itself is where the Compression Garment is causing creasing in your flank area while you are bending while making errands. By pulling the foam down over the pelvis just a bit, you should be able to prevent this from happening and leaving permanent "dent" or "banding".
