The hyaluronic acid fillers are the best ones for under the eye. The Juvaderm family are probably the longest lasting ones on the market. Depending on the patient's thickness of skin and anatomy, Volbella, Vollure or Voluma could be used. The are all the same composition but vary in concentration. Volbella being the least concentrated-Voluma being the most concentrated.
I prefer the hyaluronic-acid based dermal fillers Vollure or Volbella under the eyes. Volbella has a very thin, soft consistency that looks and feels natural, plus lidocaine to control discomfort. Its Vycross technology blends different weights of hyaluronic acids, which helps it to last longer — up to 18 months or even two years. Restylane Silk would not be my first choice for tear trough filler. Consulting with a board-certified dermatologist will help you decide which filler is best for your needs.
Hi, Thank you for your post. It really depends on the person but Volbella is a longer lasting product. I would recommend setting up a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon or an expert injector to determine which option is best for you.
Hi and thank you for your question! The choice of filler for any given area and any patients should be determined on a case-by-case basis during a consultation as every patient is different. I commonly use Restylane Silk and Volbella for under the eyes and my patients tend to be very happy with the results of either one, but if I were to choose one and the cost was not an issue, I would go with Volbella. Please keep in mind that many times, the skill of the injector can be more important than the choice of filler. I hope it helps and good luck!
Volbella, Restylane Silk, and Belotero all work well under the eyes to restore volume and improve the appearance of dark circles. Volbella may last a little longer than the others, but only comes in half syringes. More important is the skill of the injector who can work with any of these fillers to give you an optimal result. Make sure you find an experienced provider for an in-person consultation and evaluation. Best wishes.
Both are great for under the eye, but Volbella is a longer lasting filler. Keep in mind, a combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. I suggest consulting with an expert to develop a treatment plan best suited for your short and long term goals. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for sharing your question. I would be in favor of Volbella as it is a very thin product and lasts longer than Restylane Silk. Hope this helps.
I love using Volbella on patients who have experienced peri-orbital volume loss. It lasts a long time and has great, natural looking results! I would definitely recommend using Volbella.
There is no "perfect filler" for under the eyes. Based on my experience, restylane fine lines/silk or even regular restylane (if deep tear troughs and thicker skin), or Teosyal redensity-II are the best options. Voluble also is not bad. I generally get duration of at least 1 year, and in many cases 18-24 months. This is a very very delicate and fickle area to inject, so make sure to have an expert injector (e.g. dermatologist) to provide you optimal results (ie. natural look) and safety.
I like using Volbella to fill in the tear troughs and smooth out the appearance of the under eye area. I think it delivers a natural looking result that is going to last longer than Restylane Silk.
Certainly the amount of filler required depends on how severe the volume loss is in this area. On average I would plan on 1 syringe of Volbella for each side so a total of 2 syringes. Typically tear troughs respond best to treatment if the mid and lateral cheek volume loss is treated as...
Swelling of the lips after any lip injection is very common. Most of the swelling after Volbella injection usually lasts 24-48 hours, and final the result is usually seen after 7 days. Volbella is a very soft, malleable product, and will give you a very natural, fuller look when settled. The...
Thank you for sharing your question and photographs and I see your areas of concern. Because of how thin a product Volbella is it is difficult to place it too superficially and I feel that additional time will likely smooth out the raised areas in your pictures. Allow at least two weeks to p...
I’m sorry that you were put in this position and now wonder if your money was well spent. We never charge patients in advance for procedures that they may not need. If you are happy with the effects of the dermal fillers you received, you may not want subsequent treatments. Call your pr...
From your description and the photos it appears to be some deep bruising that is taking its time to resolve. The contour appears to be fine. There will be associated edema (swelling) until the bruise resolves entirely. I'd allow at least 4-6 weeks before judging the final result. If it is ...
Thanks for posting your photos and concerns. I have seen some delayed swelling from the Vycross technology fillers. You should see your injector and consider taking steroids or other anti-inflammatory. If this does not work, then consider dissolving the filler and try something different next...
