I'm considering Volbella for tear troughs/eye hollows. Does it typically require more than 1 .55ml syringe for desired results? Although it is the newest product, im trying to decide if it is worth it compared to Restalyne if it requires two syringes.
Answer: Volbella for tear troughs Certainly the amount of filler required depends on how severe the volume loss is in this area. On average I would plan on 1 syringe of Volbella for each side so a total of 2 syringes. Typically tear troughs respond best to treatment if the mid and lateral cheek volume loss is treated as well. Many times if the mid/lateral cheek is treated with filler, less filler will be required in the tear trough and the results will be enhanced. Please consult a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon experienced in tear trough injections. Best wishes.

Answer: How Many Volbella Syringes for Tear Troughs? Amount of Volbella Depends on the Troughs Volbella is one of my favorite hyaluronic-acid based dermal fillers for the tear troughs because it is very thin, easy to administer, and looks natural. How much you need will be determined in person, because it will depend on how deep your tear troughs are and what other issues you may have (skin quality, etc.) Consulting with a board-certified dermatologist will allow very specific recommendations to be made for you. You can also discuss price at that time. Choose the filler that will work for you, not the filler that’s the “cheapest”; that could be a costly mistake in the long run.

Answer: Number of Volbella Syrignes Needed for Tear Trough Hi and thank you for your question! I commonly use Volbella for under the eyes and tear troughs and my patients tend to see great results from this treatment. The number of syringes needed can only be determined during a consultation, but please keep in mind that Volbella syringes are normally half the size of other fillers and in most patients 1-2 syringes of Volbella is needed in each side. I hope it helps and good luck!

Answer: Volbella/ Tear Troughs Thank you for your question about Volbella.Typically Volbella is used in the lips and perioral area. Usually Vollure is used in the tear trough area to correct shadowing and hollowness. Volbella comes in a 0.55 mL syringe and Vollure comes in a 1 mL syringe. One benefit that you get with both Volbella and Vollure is decreased swelling post treatment, when compared with Restalyne. The amount of syringes needed varies from person to person. One other benefit with Vollure is that the product lasts up to 18 months. Where Restalyne lasts for a year. To be sure, see two or more experienced, licensed and board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.

Answer: How many syringes of Volbella are typical for tear troughs? Thank you for sharing your question. Unfortunately the best answer will depend on the degree of hollowness your eyes demonstrate and the degree of correction you seek. In most cases patients will need at least one syringe of Volbella into each lower eyelid. Hope this helps.
