Nose crooked after accident. What should I do? (Photo)

 A septorhinoplasty will give you a straight nose as well as one that will be more open. Therefore you should have a much better airway. See a very experienced rhinoplasty surgeon who does natural looking noses. 

I would advise you to seek an opinion from a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in nose surgery. 

 A rhinoplasty procedure can accomplish straightening the crooked nose and shaving down the dorsal hump after an accident. The septum on the internal portion of the nose can also be straightened to improve functional breathing, once medical necessity has been documented at the time of the examination and consultation. A septoplasty and a rhinoplasty can be performed to straighten the nose and improve the breathing, but anticipate paying for the cosmetic component yourself. A septoplasty and rhinoplasty are usually performed under general anesthesia as an outpatient surgical procedure. the same time. A natural appearing nose can be achieved when the procedures are
performed by an artistic plastic surgeon with extensive experience in nasal
surgery.Keep in mind that following

what to do based on a limited two dimensional photo without examining you,
physically feeling the tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full
medical history, and discussing the pros and cons of each operative procedure
would not

Thank you for sharing your photos. Hopefully others can learn from your experience. The reduction of the dorsal hump is one of the most common maneuvers in rhinoplasty. In addition to this your septum may be straightened at the same time. The best approach would be an open rhinoplasty. I would recommend you see a qualified surgeon you trust for a formal evaluation. Your broken nose may result in crooked nose deformity. This can usually be fixed under your insurance. Please see examples of broken nose repairs below.

It is better to fix an injury related crooked nose within a short time after your injury but you always have it corrected after. Your nose may not be totally straight but it should be improved as should the breathing problem

If you want to improve both the function and appearance of your nose you need a septorhinoplasty which is done to correct both problems at the same time. Consult with a surgeon who specializes in this work.
