Will Surgery Correct Lower Eyelid Expression Lines? (Photo)

Hello, I’m a 28 y/o male looking to see if there are any treatments to reduce the appearance of expression lines on the lower eyelids and crows feet? Could this be treated topically (serums) instead? What is the likelihood that this is due to dehydration or weight loss? I’ve recently lost 10 lbs. Is surgery necessary?

Based on this photo it is very likely that a combination of transconjuctival lower blepharoplasty and periorbital fat transfer is good option in your case. Organized lumps as a result of inflammatory reaction to filler may be removed in this course. Lumpy reaction to filler does not mean that...

It appears that mayor reason is the fact that your have small cheek bones, condition known as malar hypoplasia. That creates sunken looking eyes with dark circles. Correction should involve augmentation of the cheek bones with implant and fat grafts on top and around the orbit. Hope this helps....

You have ptosis (drooping) of the left upper eyelid. There are numerous causes of ptosis, the most common being the slippage of the muscle that elevates the lid. Once the cause is identified, treatment is generally surgery to elevate the lid to restore symmetry. Best to see an eyelid expert.
