With my history of lumps after eye filler, would a lower blepharoplasty with fat transfer be safe? (Photos)
Hello, I would love some professional insight. I used to get under eye filler for several years. I would not always use a whole syringe under the eyes but instead of wasting the product I would have them place it in other areas of my face such as lips, chin and cheek. About seven years after doing this I one day woke up with a large nodule on my chin. Over the course of four months developed a total of seven delayed onset nodules (about 4 on chin, 1 under each eye and cheek). I even got some lumps on my lips. They all dissolved fine with Hylenex. I miss the filler and loved the results that it gave me but clearly I cannot do filler anymore. The nodules were non-inflammatory they were not biofilms. They were not painful or red. They were just firm. I am seriously considering a lower bleph with a fat repositioning or fat transfer with CO2 laser. Is a fat transfer safe with the history of the lumps I got from filler?
